Oh, and although their feed is more expensive, it’s really what my birds and wildlife like best and seem happiest with. Very high quantity!”

“My senior girl, Faith, started suffering with degenerative disc issues in December of 2022. We started seeing Jenny once a week and Faith has recovered very well (will never be 100% again because of her issue & age). We continue to see Jenny 1x a week and it helps Faith SO much. One time we missed a week and boy could we tell the difference it makes! Recently, Faith had a set back & has been limping quite badly. We went to see Jenny for our regular appt in the morning and by the time I got home from work, Faith was feeling SO much better it brought tears to my eyes. “Since the addition of online appointments, my time spent at VETCO for a visit for vaccinations for my lab, have not improved. The most recent visit was unnecessarily prolonged because in my instance 2 parties were booked at the same time, 3:15 with only one vet and one tech. The other party had two dogs and the triage techs did not actively manage the situation but rather passively just stood there, which resulted in me waiting another 30 minutes to be seen. I was instructed to arrive 10 min. before the appt. time to avoid overcrowding, but there were two parties in line that had appointments after me-I pointed out that it bastardizes the online appointment process to allow parties to be seen earlier simply because they arrived too early just as it would if parties that arrived late for their appt. to be seen right away and butt in line ahead of someone who arrived on time. I have pointed out to VETCO that they need to more actively manage their online appointment making and only allow one animal per appointment. If a party has more than one animal to be seen they should make two appointment times back-to-back. Other than their difficulty with appointment/arrival issues, the vet and the tech were excellent, however the triage tech offered me a testing package WITH a Lyme's test but did NOT offer me a package of vaccinations that INCLUDED a Lyme's vaccine. I think this practice is backwards, where if an animal is given a Lyme's vaccine in the previous year, there is no need to test for Lyme's unless the dog is symptomatic and a customer's money may be better spent on an updated Lyme's vaccine. I hope when I return next year for vaccinations, VETCO has improved the appointment/arrival time process to ensure fairness and minimize prolonged wait times that the current system seems to allow due to disorganized scheduling and triage passivity/inexperience. Other than these shortcomings, I think VETCO is a great place for vaccinations for your pet for an economical price and veterinary expertise.”

I hopped into PetSmart to get a gift for a client and Mackenzie helped me register for their rewards program which saved me a ton of money and also pointed out a huge discount that if I bought one more bag I would get another one free of freeze dried chicken.. overall I came in to get just one thing but I left with quite a few things thanks to Mackenzie and it wasn’t even that much money. She was super helpful and is an awesome employee!”
