So my daughter had a flat tire At southdale mall in Edina, we live in Chaska so I drive there put her spare on and it’s only at 15 psi there’s a Firestone auto care in the parking lot so we go over to firestone and ask the guy working if he has a air hose to use as. He says no we don’t have Air hose outside just in the shop so I ask if I can use one to add air and he says no. I work at Goodyear in Bloomington we do at least 12 air checks did people a day for people. So I leave and go dons to tires plus and the guy says pull up and I’ll fill it for you and as a good auto place should does it and ask if I want the tires looked at makes since sense they sell tires.
So I’d stay clear is firestone in Edina. And I know Firestone owns tires plus too but they had great customer as Firestone doesn’t have a clue how to treat potential customer

I highly advise against using this location for any automotive services. Unfortunately, my experience here was far from positive. I felt pressured into expensive repairs with scare tactics, including claims that my family would be in danger driving the vehicle. Despite my initial reservations, I decided to proceed with the repair. However, shortly after, I began experiencing issues with the car's suspension.
The parts they installed were defective, and when I returned for the first time, they replaced them. Yet, by my third visit, a new problem arose—a metal grinding noise. After having a third-party mechanic inspect the car, I learned that the parts had been improperly installed. I took the vehicle back to Firestone, where I was told that everything had been installed correctly, despite the ongoing issues.
After paying $1,600 for basic strut and sway bar link installations, I had to hire a separate mechanic to properly uninstall and reinstall the parts. Thankfully, the car is now running fine.
While my previous visits were generally handled professionally, the last encounter was disappointing. I believe the new manager is trying to assert authority but comes off as arrogant and untrustworthy. I also contacted corporate to escalate the issue, but I never heard back, despite multiple follow-ups.
Given the poor experience and lack of resolution, I cannot recommend this Firestone location. I was hoping for a better outcome, especially considering the significant amount of money spent.

Bad service I did an appointment in my car was sitting outside for two hours. The manager was answering the phones laughing at the customers saying that don’t bring your cars here. Please don’t bring your car here to fix it. I asked for the name for the manager his name is Kevin, but he was saying that his name is None of my business

Entered the store today. There wasn't any client. Behind the counter, one man on the phone and one clearly waiting for him to hang up. I said ''Hi'' and didn't even get an answer from the one doing nothing. His face was actually quite agressive as he was frowning and looking angry. I waited 10 minutes 5 feet from the counter, and never got a word from any of them. The business must have so much success they don't need new clients or is it because I'm a foreigner and they don't like people that are different. I left and believe they never saw me leaving as they couldn't care less. Then I went to Tires Plus. The welcome was nice, but I was told they belong to the same company as Firestone in Edina. I apologized and left because there's no way on earth this company should be successful. Their business seems to happen on the phone for the most of it. Close the stores if you don't train your teams to receive customers. It was a cold shower. Thank you.

Whats wrong with this people..
My wife went to the store, to try to get fix a flat tire, she is pretty friendly the most of time..
She says hello to the guy on the counter and he never answer.. she says hi for second time and that guy was very rude with her.. he just said, I am pretty busy and I don’t have time to help you..
So.. if the people doesn’t want to work, why are they doing there?.. I don’t understand.. maybe he is a racist because we are hispanic people…

The Store Manager Dana is one of the worst combative managers not listening to hear what I was saying absolutely no sympathy or care from my facts and what transpired. Even telling me to just leave. Even having a conversation with another employee about the situation while I was standing there as If I was not there. Only when employee assisted a vendor that showed up did she begin to address me. It is then that she started talking over me and informed me that she is the Manager in a hostile manner. I have been having my vehicle serviced for many years with Firestone, and have experienced some phenomenal leaders and customer service. Dana is not one of those leaders. This was my first visit into this location and was so excited to have seen Mick there who I met many years ago and was/is first a great person and very professional. The baffling part to me is Mick had the situation very much under control with explanation and offered a solution to attempt to correct problem that did not exist before I arrived with vehicle to be serviced. Even though I was not happy with what transpired with my vehicle the relationship and trust that Mick had built with me over years I trust and respect him for the customer service he has provided me over the years. Dana’s continued over talking me, not caring / no empathy, argumentative nature was not good for me or her staff. The problem that did not exist before bringing my car in is still not working.

I recently brought my vehicle in to have the air conditioning repaired. One of the staff (Mick if I recall correctly) pointed out that the part that needed to be replaced was under warranty with the car dealership themselves. I was able to get a $600 part replaced for free because he pointed this out. I appreciate the customer service here and will return again in the future when my car needs other maintenance. Thank you!

Mick and Dana did a great job of keeping me in the loop on how the service on the car was progressing.

Veterans… I would recommend not supporting this location. The customer service at this location is appalling. What is worse is knowing that while many of my interactions with staff were less than favorable, the worst interaction was that with the store manager, Dana. I was needing to assist an elderly veteran with a tire issue as he was in the hospital and before going he had a flat tire. I called explaining this situation to a staff member. He was very friendly and made me feel they could assist. Once I tried to pick up this tire the problems ensued. It took me three attempts to get this matter settled. I had a nonprofit willing to pay for the tire. This non profit spoke with the store manager who flat out informed them they could not take payment from them. This non profit stated that she was incredibly unhelpful and unwilling to help. The nonprofit has assisted many veterans purchase tires without issue. She states they couldn’t take payments over the phone. I had been told of this before but was told if I entered the numbers in that would be ok. So I went in attempting to do that for the non profit. She denied me the ability to do so stating she could not do that. I finally asked her then to give me the old tire and rim back as this agency is willing to pay and have had no issues getting this done. After many minutes of back and forth of me expressing my frustration at trying to assist a veteran to which they will not, Dana informed me that maybe she can do it if the non profit could show documentation they are an actual nonprofit but she had to call someone first. She did that, and right away without question I hear the person in the other end say yeah that is fine. No problem. I had to have the nonprofit email her the proof to her personal email because the business apparently does not have one. I then still entered in the card numbers to pay for the product. Finally the nightmare ended. As I turned around I realize it’s likely the only reason she was willing to try to work it out was that in our conversation I kept expressing that the tire was for a veteran, that I have been trying to assist the veteran, that the non profit is veteran ran and supports veterans with their needs and it seemed as though she didn’t want people to think they wouldn’t help, as there were many people seated waiting. Well she didn’t until then. If she cared to help she would have tried to ask this person if she could do what she ended up doing or ask for other options prior to me coming in, when the nonprofit called her directly. She was rude and arrogant. Just know this veteran nonprofit informed me they will never do business there, likely will advise other veterans to avoid going there, and I know I have also informed many veterans and coworkers to avoid this store. Do better.

Customer service at this location was terrific. I had my air-conditioning serviced with barely a hiccup in my daily driving duties!

Went in for an oil change, expecting 50-70$ and 30-45 mins. Waited 1 hour then received call saying tires may be misaligned, and that realignment would be $25. Another 45 mins later another call saying it was done, charged $200… frustrating that all I really wanted was an oil change, but ended up waiting nearly 2 hours and got charged way more than I expected and was told I would be. Staff were nice, just would’ve been nicer if they were more timely and concrete about cost
