“My Jeep was absolutely smoked by ping pong sized hail. Nearly every shop in town told me that the vehicle should be totaled out. One shop very close to Collision and Color looked at it and said, “I stay away from jobs like this.” There were probably over 1,000 dents.

“I cannot say enough good things about Caliber Collision. I had to head to Europe and was stressed trying to sort out insurance, but they made it completely hassle-free. They let me leave my car at their facility for free before I left, coordinated directly with the insurance adjuster, and even got the work done ahead of schedule. On top of that, they buffed out a scratch that wasn’t even part of the insurance claim at no extra charge. Alexis at the front desk and JP, my service advisor, both did a phenomenal job coordinating and communicating with me while I was away. True professionals!”
“Possibly the best service I’ve experienced! I called DentWerks because I had a dent in my new car. Jake answered and was super kind and polite and told me to come to the shop. As soon as I arrived I was greeted with a warm welcome, I showed him the damage, and he was confident he could fix it. I came there expecting to come back after making an appointment, and jake responded by saying he could fix it right now. He immediately wanted to help me. When he was done, he brought me into the shop and showed me the work. I was simply amazed!! It’s really like the damage never happened. Jake’s talent is magic!! this will be a very over-the-top review but I could have been in the hole a lot. I put a lowering kit on for the stiffer springs it supplied because I haul a lot of weight on the highway. And i needed to get from Ohio to MN and then down to florida, I failed to get an alignment because hometowns store was on vacation. Anyway, i thought noise coming from the poor alignment and Immediately when I got to MN when to Discount Tire but they couldn't do it and recommend these fellas.
Anyway got an alignment, noise still occurred after and troubleshoot and come to find out it was a bad wheel hub. I change the wheel hub and of course you have to remove the lower A arm to do so thus messing up my alignment. After just paying for an alignment I thought I was screwed and I kindly asked them Since i just had an alignment and didn't realize the issue until after it was done they were happy to help get my alignment checked before I hit the road to FL for college.
I wouldn't take my car anywhere else except here and I typically don't like shops because I work on my stuff myself but these guys are awesome.

I dropped my car off at CarStar Monday morning. They arranged for Enterprise rental car agency to pick me up. Wednesday morning CarStar reported that my car was ready. I left the rental car there and drove my car home. They arranged for Enterprise to get their car.”

“I'd like to give LaMettry's 5 stars for effort alone, but I can't. Having my car in for a repair after an accident in which the other driver drove into the side of my car, LaMettry's took exactly 6 months to the day to get my car repaired. My car is German, and shipping delays accounted for a month's wait time. It took another month to complete the repairs and repaint the side of the car. So why 6 months and not 2 months? LaMettry's kept getting things wrong. Repeatedly. To their credit they always wanted to make it right. The car needed to be repainted three times. Panels or doors kept not being aligned properly. A lot of details kept being missed, or they'd fix one and then create another, or forget about one more thing. I believe I had the car back in to their shop at least six more times over those additional 4 months, and it was only completed on the 6 month anniversary of when I originally dropped the car off because I contacted the general manager and told him it was the 6 month anniversary since I'd dropped the car off. He had me bring the car in that day for the last item to fix, something I'd been waiting on for a month, despite his weekly updates on why it couldn't be done during that month.
LaMettry's was my only real choice for where to get my car repaired, since they're the only shop in town certified to work on my brand of car, and since the repair was serious, involving body/frame damage, and the car was relatively new (under 10K miles), I wanted the repairs to be as close as possible to how it was out of the factory, which is what those certifications are for.
So I'll rank LaMettry's like this (out of 5 stars):

“Probably the best body shop I have worked with over the years. Extremely honest with pricing, dates, and work needed. They helped me deal with insurance after a rear end collision. Gave me a good estimate to send the insurance company. Sat down with me and walked me through the exact process. The timeline they laid out for the work was accurate and completed on time. Finally, when the car didn't need the full estimate they returned me the remaining insurance money to the penny. To top it all off they did a really solid job, the paint blends well to the other panels, and the spray was tight with almost no orange peel. Overall very pleased, and will be happy to give them my business in the future.”
“Wonderful service! My car's drivers-side door (2010 Honda Civic), was creaking and popping for the last few days and today it stopped opening entirely without forcing it. Originally took it to Youngestds in Waconia to have it looked at but after examining it they recommended I bring it here instead. We found out that the front panel and my driver's door were clicking because they had been bent inwards. Initially I was super worried that the costs of fixing this were going to be more and with the holidays right around the corner, the last thing I needed was an expensive car repair. After a quick phone call they said they could get me in and give me an estimate for the costs. Once we dropped off the car, one person came to greet us and get a quick look at the car. Afterwards, she went back inside and got another gentleman who came out with one tool. That one tool instantly solved the problem! He managed to wedge it in between the door and front panel and gently pop out the bend that was causing the door to not open. The entire ordeal took less than 5 minutes and they didn't even charge me. I am super grateful that this problem could be easily mended with two kind souls and one little tool. I will definitely return for any other repairs (hopefully not expensive ones 😉) that my car may need.Thanks a bunch you guys, definitely made my day! Happy holidays! 🩷”
