when you call to make an appointment they tell you that it’s walk-in only. then you walk in after driving 40 minutes they tell you It’s a 20 minute wait. You come back after 20 minutes she then tells you she has a 75 pound weight restriction?? Why didn’t you tell me that 20 minutes ago then tells me I should’ve called you only do walk-ins. Why would I call to make an appointment? Waste of my time, effort, and patience!

Bought fish from this store, not even 3 weeks later after losing 4 of them within days, I called the store to see if they knew their fish were sick. Our two other fish were fine until we added the new fish. They had ich. I was told by Norma, the manager on duty, that their fish were perfectly healthy, and they do not sell sick fish. She explained that it was like a flu for fish, but when I responded that healthy humans don't get sick until they get around infected people, she was speechless. The entire time I was on the phone, she gave nothing but attitude, and was very disrespectful. I will no longer be doing business here and will take my business elsewhere. Good place to buy fish if you want your entire tank to die.

If I could giv them a 0, I would! This happened a few years ago when our dog was just a pup. We were living in Jordan at the time and the groomer(s) at PetSmart in Shakopee injured our dog! He was VERY HAPPY when we came to pick him up. But, when we got home, he limped into the back entrance and laid down and wouldn't eat, drink or move for over 24 hours! His right hind leg was tender to touch/movement. I waited a day then took him to our vet who said he "definitiely has a tender rear right hip" & put him on pain pills. When I got home and called the supervisor for the grooming dept., she said she'd look at the videos to see what happened. When she called back, she stated the groomer had 'supported all his joints & didn't notice an injury" She then said because he jumped up on us and was "so excited and jumping up on you when you picked him up". What happened to him from the time you picked him up till you got home?". I replied, "REALLY?!? Do you think we'd injure our own dog and then call YOU to complain?" Then she kept asking, "what do you want"? Other than never having that groomer ever injure another pet, I said "nothing else". Then she said, "We won't pay for your vet bill. What do you want; your grooming money back"? We took that and left and have not spent a SINGLE PENNY in any PetSmart store since that time. BEWARE of PetSmart grooming in Shakopee!!!

We needed to put our German Shepherd dog to sleep! It was one of the WORST days of our lives!! We MISS him SO MUCH!!! We called PetSmart and they were VERY COMFORTING about our loss and couldn't have been more HELPFUL! They REALLY CARED!!

Made an appointment to get my dog groomed. Was refused the grooming because they said the hair was too tight on the rear legs. Went home and groomed her ourselves. She looks great. Saved 75 bucks. Won't go back to PetSmart.

I took my dog here today to get his nails trimmed. I had a save 5 dollars on my next walk-in grooming salon service on my receipt. It said no appointment necessary. It expires today so I thought I would go before it expired. When I got there and asked if we could get his nails trimmed they said they don’t have anybody who trims nails today and to come back tomorrow. What a waste of a drive. On there website they should have something that says they don’t do nail trimmings on Sundays. Very disappointed.
