“Took my boys here to fish and camp during Labor Day weekend and we all absolutely loved it! Large campsites, (with power) fishing boat rentals (good pricing) they have a nice beach, (that I found some beach glass on, which was cool! I would recommend water shoes for those who have sensitive feet as there are rocks but it’s a safe beach for little ones!) they have paddle boards and kayaks that are free to use, we had so much fun on the paddle boards! They also have lots of life jackets to use. The lake is great fishing with endless beautiful views, there’s a damn nearby (federal damn) that we also fished at and caught quite a lot of fish (my son caught his personal best bass there and my other son caught his pb walleye ) and the sunset views by the docks at the campground are stunning ? Tristen, one of the guys that works there, was so kind and helpful, he took the time to address my son and let him know if he needed anything at all to flag him down and ask, I really appreciated how he took the time to speak to my son like he was an adult also, it was so cute! We can’t wait to go back when the leaves are in full color! 10/10 on location, views, the people, the fishing! Literally it was perfect! It was an unforgettable trip! ? thank you to the resort for being so amazing, we will make time every year to camp here, what a hidden gem ! I also included some photos from our trip! ☺️???”
