The only two caveats I would mention: make sure your current auto insurance carrier covers salvage titles. I have Progessive, and they covered it with zero questions asked. The other caveat to consider is whether or not you’re going to keep the vehicle long term or try to resell or trade it in later. You’re not going to get very much either way for a vehicle holding a salvaged or previously salvaged title.”
