Loon Lake Lodge offers a serene and picturesque winter retreat in the heart of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA). The lodge keeps only one cabin open for the winter, creating a private and exclusive atmosphere, almost like having the entire lake to yourself. In the warmer months, guests can explore the Gitchi-Gami trail, go biking, fishing, and kayaking, and indulge in the hosts' delectable take-and-bake pizzas and homemade ice cream sandwiches.

Pure magic! The owners are lovely, the accommodation and amenities are fantastic, and the location is phenomenal. Could not ask for more.

We enjoyed our stay during the Fall! The cabins have all that you need. Remember they are 100 y/o cabins so have some little quirks to them but very comfortable. Lots of fun extras to enjoy by the lake and we would stay again! The owners are very helpful, kind and knowledgeable about the area!
