“First off, I want to make it clear that this isn’t a negative review.

I bring my elderly mother into the Hermantown branch at least once a week. Over time, we’ve gotten to know the ladies behind the counter pretty well. My mom enjoys chatting with them, and they’re always kind and patient with her. It’s honestly a highlight of her week, and I appreciate the way they treat her.

A while back, we noticed that two of the women we used to see regularly weren’t behind the counter anymore. We’ve since seen one of them around the bank but not at her usual post. I don’t know the details, but it did catch our attention.

Lately, I’ve noticed it’s been taking longer for folks to get helped. I usually sit back and observe while my mom chats, and it does seem like the bank is short staffed. Naturally, I assumed you might be in the process of hiring, but when I checked online I didn’t see any open positions listed, which prompted me to share this feedback.

The women working there now are doing an amazing job, seriously, they’re efficient, friendly, and clearly care about providing good service. But it’s also clear that they’re being stretched thin. It’s tough to maintain that level of quality and personal attention when the lobby is full and the team is running at half strength.

I just wanted to pass this along in case no one has said it yet: a couple more hands behind the counter could go a long way in supporting the great team you already have. Thanks for listening.

“Janice Merrill and others we worked with during the purchase of our first home through North Shore Bank were very knowledgeable, patient, and helpful throughout the entire process.”

“I have banked with Centricity for a few years now and I like banking with them. The reason I gave them four stars instead of 5 is because it is IMPOSSIBLE to get a live person on the phone. They do call you back though if you have to leave a message on some random voicemail that has nothing to do with whatever you need to talk to someone about, because pressing buttons ad infinitum is the only way to get to any voicemail.”
