“We stopped at Thunderbird Lodge for dinner after a day out on the lakes at Voyageurs National Park. It was late and storming outside; we looked like a couple drowned rats. But we were seated immediately and our server was attentive and understanding. The food and drinks were excellent! Try the Walleye Cakes and don’t skip the dessert-have the Toll House Pie!!”
“Very clean and updated rooms compfy beds and air-conditioning was awsome! Friendly staff would definitely stay again. Stayed for work and was a bit far of a drive to site but having a nice cold room to stay in on a very hot week made it worth the extra miles. Walking distance to local shops restaurants and grocerie store”

“Different way to check in. No manned lobby. You are texted a message that explains what room is yours and how to get the key. Found out laundry only accepts loonies. Room was spacious. Just across the street from the bay.”
“Hotel is pretty nice, fairly clean, rooms are pretty nice too. The air conditioner was very poor in our room though, which made the experience not so great. Breakfast is pretty darn good for hotels, with eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, all the greatest hits. The pool was ice cold but in pretty good shape. The hot tub looked nice but we didn't use it. I'd probably stay here again but I feel the price point was to high for our room and hotel amenities.”

“This is one of the best resorts I've ever been to. They have a fish fry every week and there is really good fishing in between the docs. They even have boats you can barrow. The cabins are really clean and nice. Great owners too!”
