“We stayed at VPL for fishing opener 2025, and it was exactly what we were looking for. Bait onsite, nice fish cleaning shack, boat rental, updated cabin, amazing views -and fish in the livewell! Casey was a great host -he was available if you needed anything and the entire property is set up with guest needs in mind. We'll likely take the family back for another visit this Summer.”

“Stayed here overnight for a guys spearfishing trip and had an amazing experience. Our 4 wheeler wouldn't start because it was -20 out so the owner towed our fish house out with his side by side and put us right on the fish -we got 3 35+ inch northerns. They let us upgrade from hotel room to cabin day of, which was great to have a fireplace! Dinner was great and fairly priced with good selection of beer and alcohol. They also had breakfast set up and ready to go for us in the morning. This felt more like staying with friends than getting a hotel room. We will make this an annual tradition in the coming years!”
