“Overall enjoyed the quietness of the place and small family business, but if someone rents the suite above, you can hear their steps and chairs. We were downstairs in their new lodge room, but I would have liked a key to lock the room and maybe a foldable table since a foldable chair was provided and it was hard to eat in bed. The shower curtains didn't do a good job keeping water out of the shower so I would recommend at least a floor mat as the floor would bubble over time from water damage. No issues with other amenities: bed, central air, satellite tv, fridge and microwave. Didn't use the coffee maker since we didn't bring any coffee and there's some shops nearby for that!Nearby activities: Lots of water nearby so many had boats or kayaks. We visited the three Voyaguer national park visitor centers and their trails, within 15-45min drive (furthest one was Rainy lake).”

“So much fun! We had a blast. We stayed one night just to break up our long Canada road trip. There were 8 of us and we ate dinner there. They gave us free walleye wings for the group, and Jason, the bartender, was so amazing. We had so much fun there. The rooms we cozy with two queen beds, fridge and bathroom. The rooms are more rustic, but clean and comfortable. If you're looking for a chain type hotel, this is not the place. Gives you an in the elements feel... which is what we were looking for. The people there were so nice and welcoming that it felt like when I was a kid going to the relatives for holiday. They had everything we needed. We were going to stay on our trip back, but decided to stay a day longer in Canada to fish, so ending up not returning. We would highly recommend and will go back some day.”
