“I pop in a few or several times a week for a few things. Staff is friendly and helpful. A couple of times I have went in asking: what is going on? For some reason the bingo folks prefer to park in the lot instead of their assigned back parking lot. Don't let the parking scare you, the masses are not in the store. I got a good chuckle tonight... after looking at the end of a few aisles where the batteries are usually hanging. A fellow in a green shirt passed by... I was going to ask him... I hesitated... maybe it's not an employee? He passed by again; I asked: where are the batteries?.... you work here...right? He replied: ha.... you ask that like I haven't seen you in here every week for the past two or three years. I got a good chuckle from the exchange... it's not as if we chit chat while I check out and he probably sees hundreds of customers a day. Thanks for the chuckle Dollar Tree... ha.”
“I see they updated to better choices over the years so you can just about find anything here at the stores now and thanks for the greeting when I entered the store it was a pleasant experience I was able to buy a crochet craft kit for $7 which was nice o love crafting now they just need to add the miniature dollhouse kits ?I have done many”
“I like that you can find unique stuff and they always have good graphic shirts. It's a fun place to shop cause you always find something different and unique”
“There's so many options so many things and they're so affordable you cannot miss orbi disappointed there is so much to choose from and is definitely affordable you better hurry down to five below because it is some great Christmas presents waiting for you and trust me they are so affordable and these are presents that they're going to want it's not cheap it's basically what you're looking for at a very affordable price so five below is the store to go”
“Another one of those stores that sells all sorts of goods perhaps insurance salvage or closeout products or even pallets of returned goods. However they aquire the goods they do a good job. They have a huge selection of items at some incredible prices. Th is is one of those store you have to visit often as the inventory is always changing. The items were in good condition mostly new or near new. And they have something for everyone. If you leave without buying something you just did not look around enough because they honestly have soo much stuff! Great store!”
“I come all the way from uptown to this Dollar tree location because I think it's definitely the best store they have. The store was very organized, had several price checkers, had everything I was looking for plus tons of everything else.”
“I was impressed by this store. It was clean and well organized. Well staffed. Two registers open keeping the customers moving, while other staff was stocking the shelves. Two thumbs up!”
“Earned shout out to the night shift closing team at Dollar Tree NB for consistently showing up and ready to help with the most random last minute items I frequently am sent out to find before the kids go to school in the morning. You are appreciated. You are necessary.”
“Great store and a hidden gem. They have $5 sunglasses and super high quality candles for cheap. Family owned and very friendly. There is always something new that you didn’t know you needed.”
“Nice selection, great location, great prices, my wife and I never go anywhere else for holiday or birthday cards. Staff can be busy and hard to find sometimes and could probably use more help to accommodate that need. Or perhaps a button that sounds a bell at the register, so customers don't have to go looking for help.”
“The male cashier with dark hair named Faylon was SO kind and helpful. He completely made our day with his helpfulness and is clearly incredible at working with people.”
“This is an awesome marshalls. It is very well managed, clean and organized. Good selection. Employees care. Hopefully, they keep it up and the residents of St Paul dont trash it and steal like they do so many stores.”
“Don't hang out in this area much anymore but back when I did I'd stop in here all the time for a cold beverage and the staff was always nice to me and one time a customer ahead of me in line paid for my things just to be nice. Not the cleanest store I've ever been in however and some may consider this area to be a bit ghetto but its not bad in my opinion overall positive review!”
“I like tha place and its kinda clean and the employees are nice and always do thier job, but one thing I really want dollar tree to change is thier open hours because it only opens at 9am and I wish it was 8am because at 8am I go shopping for hotwheels and go home at 8:30am and I think dollar tree has some good hotwheels and better hotwheels than dollar genral so if dollar tree is reading this. Please open little around 8am than I will be happy”
“Out of all the dollar trees I have been to. Through out the metro hands down this one by far is the cleanest. As well the mostly stocked one. I will definitely go out of my way. To go to this store instead of going to one closer to me. Jamie was the best really helpful.”
“Always has in stock what I came for..always answers the phone unlike Oakdale & the 2 woodbury stores who always take their phones off hook!! Very irratating”
“They had cute things that are useful. I know they're updating a few things so hours have been different, but if you need something while you're in the shopping center try this spot. They have cute bags you could use if you're using the laundromat nearby. Friendly service. Would go back if needed.”
“I like this location it's clean has good products , parking is good... Always find something to buy... Great for organizing items, gift bags, Cards, and office supplies ECT.”
“Give Miss Crystal a raise PLEASE!! I see her pulling triple duty in there; security, mental health expert, AND cashier AT THE SAME TIME!!! That's talent, nurture that Dollar Tree!!!👏👏👏”
“I love this store... But only with the morning staff...But there is a female employee in the afternoon that always comes to work with an attitude and also don't always do her job because other things while at work”
“It's a dollar fifty tree. What more is there to say? They were out of doggy poop pick up bags. But other than that I got what I needed and then some. Friendly staff, clean store, well stocked and organized. I'll continue to go back.”
“Sad to see this place so low rated, I can't recommend it enough. The worker behind the counter has always been friendly to me, the store is clean, and the stock is unique including some older retro items (likely deadstock) such as Hannah Montana stickers or Anastasia party supplies. I don't think I've ever had to spend more than $10 or $15. Whoever owns it seems to be making a genuine effort.”
“The store is great because of the new manager and her staff!! ? and the store has actually been open for the hours listed on the door and Google. Everybody was so kind and friendly! Highly recommend it???”
“This is the cleanest I seen this store in 15yrs ...and I mean clean from the isle the floor the shelves from when you first walk in and the two clerks that are working today 1/16/2025 @453pm heyyyy I'm telling you it's lovely in here as if they cared about the community ...LOVE IT !...”
“Dollar Tree in Pheasant Ridge in Blaine is one of the nicest Dollar Tree locations I have visited. The store was extremely clean, well organized, and fully stocked. Sometimes discount stores can feel picked over, with empty shelves and products scattered around, but this location was in immaculate shape. Everything was easy to see, neatly displayed, and arranged in a way that made shopping feel simple instead of overwhelming. I especially love coming here for organization supplies. They have an impressive variety of bins, baskets, containers, drawer organizers, storage trays, labels, and small containers for almost every type of project. You can find clear bins when you want to easily see what is inside, colorful options for color-coding different categories, and neutral styles if you prefer a clean, simple look. This would be a great first stop for organizing a pantry, bathroom, office, classroom, craft area, laundry room, garage, or even your car. They also have smaller organizers that work well for makeup, cleaning products, office supplies, snacks, medications, cords, tools, and all of those little items that seem to wander around the house without a permanent home. One of the best things about shopping here is that you can experiment with different organizing ideas without spending a fortune. You can purchase several matching containers, try out a new system, and make a space look more put together without paying the prices you might find at a specialty organization store. The staff clearly takes pride in keeping this location looking good. The aisles were clean, the shelves were orderly, and the products were displayed nicely. There were plenty of choices, and I never felt like I had to dig through a messy shelf to find what I needed. For affordable organizing tools and everyday household items, the Dollar Tree at Pheasant Ridge is absolutely worth visiting. It is clean, organized, well stocked, and filled with practical options. This location should definitely be one of your first stops before beginning any organization project.”
“Me personally I like this location, I come here in my free time to window shop with my friends and it’s super close by to where I live, which is nice. But I do say the only bad thing is that I almost bought a Starbucks coffee here once but they were on the shelf instead of the fridge so when I looked at the drink it looked like there was chunky stuff floating around in it from the milk but other then that the other food and drinks are good here!.”
Burlington Stores is giving its locations a major makeover. The off-price retailer has already transformed about half of its 1,115 stores and plans to complete the redesign across its entire fleet by the end of 2026. The company calls this makeover "Store Experience 2.0." Gone are the cramped aisles and confusing layouts that once defined discount shopping. Instead, Burlington is creating wider walkways, organized sections, and clearer signs to help shoppers find what they need.
Dollar General is adding more of its private label food offerings to stores, following similar moves by big retailers like Walmart and Amazon as store brands keep growing in popularity. The store is launching new items under its own labels, including ice cream, cinnamon rolls, coffee syrups, and salad dressings. The move comes as store brand sales reached $271 billion in 2024, up nearly 4% from 2023.
Daiso, the beloved Japanese retailer known for its variety of affordable household goods, is expanding further in the U.S. market. This week, the company is celebrating the grand openings of three new stores in Texas and California. On Saturday, Aug. 10, Daiso debuted an 8,000-sq.-ft. location in Beaumont, Texas, at Dowlen Towne Center, as well as two Southern California stores - a 6,319-sq.-ft. space in Van Nuys at Mid Valley Marketplace and a 5,200-sq.-ft. store in Westminster at Westminster Center.
Dollar Tree is moving into 170 former 99 Cents Only stores, marking a big shift in the discount retail landscape. The company announced Wednesday it's taking over leases in Arizona, California, Nevada, and Texas, with plans to reopen the stores under its own brand as early as fall 2024.
Ollie's Bargain Outlet just landed a great deal of its own, winning a $14.6 million bankruptcy auction for 11 former 99 Cents Only store locations across Texas. The discount retail chain pounced after 99 Cents Only abruptly went out of business in March, shuttering all 371 of its stores in California, Arizona, Texas, and Nevada. Ollie's quickly made an opening "stalking horse bid" to grab over a dozen of the empty properties.
