“One of my favorite parks in the area. There's a beautiful bridge that walks out onto an Island tha has 2 small peninsulas. There's a few short walking trails and some art installations along the way. There is also a small beach at the neighboring park. Not sure if the water would be great to swim in though.”
“Went to the holiday lights show. I was not sure if it would be worthwhile, but I and all the kids we brought really enjoyed the stroll through different areas of the light show. The slide was fun too.”
“Getting married at 7 Vines Vineyard this past September was truly the best day of my life. Lorah and her team are so genuine, detail oriented, and very accommodating. The whole process was smooth and easy. I never felt rushed or overwhelmed, and I truly felt special and supported the whole day. Lorah thought of all the small details (timing, guest experience, etc) and executed everything so perfectly. I would absolutely recommend 7 Vines Vineyard for your wedding, or any other bridal event.”

“My husband and I recently spent four nights at the St Paul Hotel while attending the Minnesota Yacht Club music festival. The location was the initial draw as it was walking distance to the venue. We travel quite a bit and have stayed in many nice hotels and we both agreed that this was one of our favorites! The building itself is beautiful and our room was immaculate. Some of the best room service and house keeping we’ve experienced. The St Paul Grill is the onsite restaurant and the food and service was superb! A bit pricey but well worth it. There is also a lobby bar which has coffee and pastries in the mornings or you can have breakfast at the Drake which was also amazing. It’s rare that we leave a place with no complaints but it happened during this stay! Book a stay at the St Paul. You will not be disappointed!”
“From the moment that Captain Dan first called (minutes after I sent an email inquiring for more information) through our event in July, I was completely satisfied and incredibly impressed by the personal customer service, prompt responses for information, quality, and value. “We held our wedding reception at North Garden in October of 2023. Ryan and Tina could not have been more gracious and helpful in executing our perfect day. We had an unexpected issue with one of our vendors as the reception began; Ryan, Tina and their staff jumped right in to help us problem solve a solution, which we could not have been more grateful for. The space is a perfect size for all types of events, and Ryan's prior stage management experience is invaluable in helping to create the perfect internal atmosphere for whatever the space is being used for. We cannot recommend North Garden Theatre enough, and wish we could give more than a 5 star rating!”

“Staying here was my favorite thing about my visit to St Paul. It was so comfortable, relaxing, and interesting in the best way! Harriet island is very nice to walk around. On the Inn you'll also experience excellent views. I watched the sunset from the upper deck. Lot's of peaceful entertainment watching the birds. Not far from downtown but really feels like an escape. Has every modern amenity, despite being a boat! Came to St Paul for a conference at the intercontinental and stayed here on my last night, I wish I had stayed here the whole time! It is a very short walk. The owner is very kind and accommodating. I'm vegan and she made me a delicious breakfast. Staying at the Covington is really a must-do! I hope I have an excuse to come back and cannot recommend it highly enough!
Rooms: So cute and comfy! I was in the mates quarters. I wish I stayed more than one night. It was perfect

Safety: Felt very safe
Walkability: Not far from downtown! I walked to and from there.
Food and drinks: The host prepared a lovely breakfast accommodating my vegan! There's also a fridge in the room, and a kitchen area in the lobby. I enjoyed having the kettle for tea. I got takeout for lunch from babani's nearby (delicious!)”
“This place has such a welcoming environment! And do NOT get me started on the employees. There's so many good things I could've talked about, but tonight's service by Katie was more than excellent enough to write about immediately after.
I heard about this place from a friend and wanted to test out my new Hammer Special Effect. I was privileged enough to be tended to by Katie, who showed so much hospitality and help that I'll come back again next week. She was always there to help us with any problem (there were barely any though!) and made my time here great.”
“First thing you notice is the smell, they definitely do some serious bbq here! they have a decent size bar, with exceptionally kind staff, I got the 3 meat with th 2 sides, chicken was decent, brisket was good but those ribs is where they shined! Mac and cheese was hot and definitely wasnt no velveeta, corn bread was lathered in butter and too hot to eat, fantastic meal with even more fantastic people.”

“Victoria and 413 on Wacouta are absolutely AMAZING! My husband and I could not be more thrilled with choosing this venue for our special day. First of all, the ceremony and reception happened in the same place so we didn't have to worry about transferring anywhere - huge plus! Secondly, we are huge fans of St. Paul and being able to have roof access to take photos with the St. Paul skyline was so perfect. Everything went smoothly and Victoria was a huge help on our day making sure everyone was where they needed to be. She was a great go-to person. The venue is absolutely beautiful - very good St. Paul vibes! We will always recommend this venue and Victoria to anyone!”
“We had our wedding reception here (ceremony offsite). We were able to get ready at the College Club with our wedding parties, take photos there, and then come back after our ceremony for the reception. It was a great space for couple, family, and wedding party photos!
The planning experience felt a little disorganized at times, and sometimes it felt like we needed to communicate things multiple times leading up to the day, but things really came together in the end.
However, our day-of coordinator (Keelia) did an incredible job helping our day run smoothly! She had an infectious positive attitude even when we were stressed by a dress bustling issue that kept pushing back the timeline.
This is a beautiful space for a reasonable price!”
“We recently had our wedding here and we truly could not be more happy! When we toured HCE we knew right away it was the perfect venue for us. It is beautiful, the staff was so helpful, and the food was amazing! We got so many compliments on our venue and the food and it is truly all thanks to the staff at HCE. Our day was perfect and everything ran so smoothly thanks to the staff. Caitlin was our event coordinator and she truly is amazing! We are so thankful for everything they did for our big day!”

“How do you review something so timeless. As a little one I came here frequently with my family and I would get so excited I would make myself sick! (Or so they say, I probably have issues with crowds or something). Anyway, I started volunteering in the vet med area in 2023 and I am so glad to be back - I actually kind of preferred walking around by myself! I am glad they've been getting more vegan options. I was there in 2019 to see Brandi Carlile and that was my first time Grand Standing it. Always so much to do and so little time!”

The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable, and the security ensured everyone felt safe. The food was delicious, making the experience even better.
