“The tour was a ton of fun. I would have loved to chat with our guide for longer- even though his first choice of doctor has some to be desired. It's great to see someone clearly having a great time at work. 26 years of doing a tour is no joke!

“The Lowlands is an incredible space for your wedding or any large event! The entire staff are thoughtful, generous, and professional while also knowing how to support us in throwing a party. They were amazing and helpful in recommending our other vendors who they have worked with and trust. The two floors allows for great movement throughout the event and everything was seamless and taken care of by them. They answered any and all questions we had and made suggestions based on what our vision/budget was.

“I recently held an office event aboard with Magnolia Blossom, and I can't recommend them enough! Captain Dan and the staff on board were fantastic from start to finish. The planning process was incredibly easy. All I had to do was provide a headcount and submit our catering order to Dan, and he took care of everything else.

The staff was friendly, organized, and made sure our group had a great experience. The cruise itself was wonderful, and the value was excellent for what we received. If you're looking for a stress-free way to host a company outing or special event, this is the perfect choice. We had a great time and would absolutely book with them again!”

“We held our wedding reception at North Garden in October of 2023. Ryan and Tina could not have been more gracious and helpful in executing our perfect day. We had an unexpected issue with one of our vendors as the reception began; Ryan, Tina and their staff jumped right in to help us problem solve a solution, which we could not have been more grateful for. The space is a perfect size for all types of events, and Ryan's prior stage management experience is invaluable in helping to create the perfect internal atmosphere for whatever the space is being used for. We cannot recommend North Garden Theatre enough, and wish we could give more than a 5 star rating!”

“Victoria and 413 on Wacouta are absolutely AMAZING! My husband and I could not be more thrilled with choosing this venue for our special day. First of all, the ceremony and reception happened in the same place so we didn't have to worry about transferring anywhere - huge plus! Secondly, we are huge fans of St. Paul and being able to have roof access to take photos with the St. Paul skyline was so perfect. Everything went smoothly and Victoria was a huge help on our day making sure everyone was where they needed to be. She was a great go-to person. The venue is absolutely beautiful - very good St. Paul vibes! We will always recommend this venue and Victoria to anyone!”

Jessica was organized, kind, and truly dedicated to making the event run seamlessly. Every member of her staff that I interacted with was equally as lovely, especially the dedicated beverage staff. They worked diligently and efficiently, and it was clear that they take great pride in serving their guests with exceptional care.

The venue itself is stunning, featuring a beautiful stage and a variety of lighting options to perfectly match any wedding or event vibe. If you’re considering Royal Cliff, I highly recommend scheduling a tour, you won’t be disappointed!

“Wonderful place to stay!! Especially good when you have events in downtown St Paul. I've traveled the world. The closest I can compare this to is a great old hotel near Old Town in Prague, in the Czech Republic.”

“Staying here was my favorite thing about my visit to St Paul. It was so comfortable, relaxing, and interesting in the best way! Harriet island is very nice to walk around. On the Inn you'll also experience excellent views. I watched the sunset from the upper deck. Lot's of peaceful entertainment watching the birds. Not far from downtown but really feels like an escape. Has every modern amenity, despite being a boat! Came to St Paul for a conference at the intercontinental and stayed here on my last night, I wish I had stayed here the whole time! It is a very short walk. The owner is very kind and accommodating. I'm vegan and she made me a delicious breakfast. Staying at the Covington is really a must-do! I hope I have an excuse to come back and cannot recommend it highly enough!

Rooms: So cute and comfy! I was in the mates quarters. I wish I stayed more than one night. It was perfect

Walkability: Not far from downtown! I walked to and from there.

Food and drinks: The host prepared a lovely breakfast accommodating my vegan! There's also a fridge in the room, and a kitchen area in the lobby. I enjoyed having the kettle for tea. I got takeout for lunch from babani's nearby (delicious!)”

“A beautiful space for weddings and other events. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because there was a lot of miscommunication from the day-of-event coordinator with the bride that left her stressed.”

“We had our wedding reception here (ceremony offsite). We were able to get ready at the College Club with our wedding parties, take photos there, and then come back after our ceremony for the reception. It was a great space for couple, family, and wedding party photos!

The planning experience felt a little disorganized at times, and sometimes it felt like we needed to communicate things multiple times leading up to the day, but things really came together in the end.

However, our day-of coordinator (Keelia) did an incredible job helping our day run smoothly! She had an infectious positive attitude even when we were stressed by a dress bustling issue that kept pushing back the timeline.

This is a beautiful space for a reasonable price!”

“The architecture and style of this place is so perfect and comfortable, such a peaceful place to be. The lower level is also awesome with the bowling and 5 combo deals every day.
Update: Get rid of the Wild Pie setup, it gave me false hopes, and the bowling/combo deals seems to be closed half of the time.”

“This place has such a welcoming environment! And do NOT get me started on the employees. There's so many good things I could've talked about, but tonight's service by Katie was more than excellent enough to write about immediately after.

I heard about this place from a friend and wanted to test out my new Hammer Special Effect. I was privileged enough to be tended to by Katie, who showed so much hospitality and help that I'll come back again next week. She was always there to help us with any problem (there were barely any though!) and made my time here great.”
