“I live almost an hour away from this location in the twin city metro and I am SO pleased that this franchise is still going. As a kid growing up in the early 80's, I have very fond memories of riding my bike to my local Tom Thumb and getting my candy and soda. This nostalgia prompted me to contact the Hanover store and see if there was a way to order any merchandise. The store associate was very helpful and said she would have to store owner contact me to see if there was a way to order online. Next day, the owner calls me and says that they don't have an online order process but said he would pop a few hats and shirts in the mail. WOW.....just plain WOW! This is truly a hallmark of great family owned and operated business that still cares about people. I let the owner how grateful I was, and I wished him all the success and prosperity in the world. It is my hope that The Original Tom Thumb stores remain a Minnesota staple for generations to come! Thank you very much!!”

It has decent gas pump set up but in peak summer season: be willing to wait for a pump or tolerable of people with boats on trailer behind them and entertainment on watching them try to drive. This store has big selection of candy/pre-made cold sandwiches/clean bathrooms . To top it off: it has a Culvers attached to it to offer dining and to go good fast food! Staff here are always pleasant and helpful. Keep up the great store.”

Thanks for the no s advice while trying to use my cc. Touch cc didn't work. Ton of open stalls and very, very not busy. Despite my clear attempts to solve the issue by inserting my cc this time she persisted very aggressively like ehhh just why. Going inside, a different cashier, different voice, Black cashier was extremely helpful and polite. Intercom idiot needs to be s canned. (Also only mentioned race for identification of the employee).”

I said I'd be in when I could to get it. He suggested that they store it by the register. I came to get it about an hour later. I was warmly welcomed when I walked in. The medicine was waiting for me and I was able to pay for it and leave right away. I really appreciated the extra effort so I wasted no time looking for it. Ii'll be back.”
