Minnesota Valley Pet Hospital
1541 Adams St, MankatoWe unfortunately lost our sweet dog Roxy the other day but Minnesota Valley Pet Hospital was a blessing for us. Losing our sweet girl was completely unexpected and she was not going to make it to her usual vet out of town. I had called around to other places and they referred us to emergency clinics in the Twin Cities. As we started our drive there, Roxy started to decline fast and we knew she was passing. We knew she wasn't going to make it to either the emergency vet or to her usual clinic out of town.
We decided to stop at MVPH as we knew Roxy's time was near and we just needed to make her comfortable. Unfortunately, she passed away in the car just as we arrived. That didn't stop the staff from being so extremely kind and gracious to us. Although we aren't patients here, they still treated us with kindness, compassion, and didn't hesitate to help us when we were grieving our girl. I wish I could remember the name of the girl who helped me at the front desk. She was so kind and helped us get Roxy out of our car and into the room where we were able to comfortably spend time with her and say our goodbyes. We didn't feel rushed. We kept apologizing for coming in and being so distraught and not even being patients of theirs but everyone was just so kind. While we will miss Roxy with our whole hearts, MVPH helped us say our goodbyes and made us feel very taken care of.
Edited to add that I understand that they do not provide immediate emergency services at their location. We were desperate and needed a place to either utilize euthanasia or in this case have a place to help us say our goodbyes after she passed in the car.

Bober Tea Mankato
1600 Warren St Suite 14, MankatoPreordered online, and went in for pick up. Didn’t realize until then that they ran out of a lot of fruit teas and fruit drinks so we could only get strawberry fruit drinks. Beautiful indoor backdrop for pictures! Staff was knowledgeable and kind. If you want to order, only option is a kiosk but doesn’t seem like they can program when they are out of certain things.
Parking: Sitting across campus and other restaurants/eateries (Chipotle, Asian Wok, crumbl cookies), bank, and a liquor store, so it can grt busy!
