“Came here after having a horrible experience at Gear West in Long Lake. Mac approached my wife and I the second we entered and was nothing but helpful. Mac helped both me and my wife get setup with ski boots, skis, bindings and poles. Mac is an absolute pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend coming here!”

“Excellent sales and service team all around. We were stepping into a new level of tech for my son’s XC MTB racing. From the sales team making sure we were sizing for a couple years of growth-spurt use, to the service team helping us understand how to maintain tubeless tires, we had a great experience with Freewheel Minnetonka and will be back for the next ride.
Oh… and HUGE bonus points for the single track they built around their property to test the bikes on—complete with obstacles and a tricky rocky berm. Love it!”

“My son’s snowboard binding strap was broken and I didn’t even buy it at Erik’s. They found me a left over strap and even installed it for me and didn’t charge me a thing. Great service!”

“Trailhead Champlin has been hassle free and offers excellent services and perks for buying your bikes there. I learned a lot about the Velotric e-bikes there, and it was nice to test ride the bikes to see how I liked them vs other brands. I eventually ordered a Velotric Nomad 2, and they honored all the discounts Velotric have. They are also a certified Velotric dealer and repair center, so they will handle all my warranty claims if I need them. I recently got my bike tuned up which is free for two years if you buy your bike from them as well. Trailhead is also very attentive and on point for calling you for when things have arrived at their shop, or your repairs have been completed. If I’m buying another Velotric after my Nomad 2 is bricked after warranty, then I will certainly buy the Velotric Nomad 2X or another Velotric by that time.

I also brought in another ebike after it got into an accident, and they gave me a repair estimate for my insurance claim as well which was helpful for said claim. Especially given they did it for free which I’m very thankful for.”

“One of the best bike shop experiences I have had in a long time! Pam helped me size my new TCR to my liking, walked me through the warranty process and even put the new cleats on for me. Super low stress environment and good conversation to add!”

“Updated: They reached out to me by phone. My husband took our Aventon Level 2 e-bikes in for a tune-up, hoping to avoid the spring rush. He told them that his bike had been power surging. We got a notice that they were done pretty quickly. He went to pick them up the next day. When he got home, I checked the invoice; it was only $45.00 each. I was surprised at how inexpensive it was, so I decided to see what they actually did for the tune-up. Unfortunately, they don't list what they did on your receipt. My husband called, and they said they did a bike tune-up, not an e-bike tune-up, and never checked anything for the power surging he had on his bike.

An e-bike tune-up should include a comprehensive check of both mechanical and electrical components: tightening all hardware, adjusting gears and brakes, lubricating the chain, checking tire pressure/wear, and inspecting/updating the battery, motor, and controller, as well as checking for firmware updates. Very disappointing since nothing was fixed on his bike, and it wasted our time driving down to have them fixed.
I previously gave them a 5 star when we purchased our bikes from them, we have had Erik's put on accessories for us. Always been pleased with service, not sure if new managers or what happened.”

“Great time for bike overhaul. Did mine this week at Erik's (on my way home from skiing, ha) . And last fall I got another excellent repair after my bike wreck. Friendly, expert service from Erik's! I trust them. Thanks.”

“Paul made magic happen. Wanted a pop-up canopy/gazebo. The one on the floor was $699.“Might have one in the basement.”Brand new, older model, but the same 12 x 12 size and shape.“Don’t have a heart attack,” he said.“Huh?” I thought it would be a just few bucks cheaper than the newer model.$67. Yeah. The decimal is right. An early Fathers Day, birthday and Christmas for me.Wow wow wow… I ❤️ Hoigaards.”
