As far as car maintenance places go they are pretty decent - responsive to customers and usually do what they say they are going to do. I only had one instance of asking for them to do something they forgot to do but were able to correct in a short-ish amount of time. Let’s just say it’s the best place to go in my area :)

I made an appointment showed up for my appointment and then I was told that it was too late for a 630 appointment that I made and authorized with the receptionist. I'm completely disappointed that I wasted gas money and my time to drive somewhere to just get told to turn around and go back home.

The service manager Taylor and employee chuck are very lazy the closed at 7 pm I came in at 4 pm and they refused to go through my warranty stating it’s a hassle and it take to much time for them to get paid. All around the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. They didn’t even try to call my warranty and ask how long it’ll take to get paid. They instantly refused me ! If you have a warranty don’t go here !

I brought my 2009 Kia Rio5 in with front suspension noise. I picked my car up two days later with new lower ball joints on both sides, a new cv shaft, cleaned and adjusted the rear drum brakes which made the brake pedal firm and the parking brake holds again, and they topped it off with an alignment. I already paid for a lifetime alignment at the Brooklyn Park Firestone which transferred over to this shop with no additional fee. Firestone sent me pictures of everything they diagnosed and didn't try to sell me anything that I didn't actually need. On my wife's 2011 Sorento they couldn't confirm the front left suspension clunking and blamed my son's rock collection in the cup holder. I went to another non-Firestone shop in New Hope the next day and they replaced a sway bar link and cv shaft which fixed the klunking when hitting bumps plus the metallic clunk when it was shifted from fwd to rev. Firestone had the Sorento 1.25 hours with no diagnosis whereas the other shop had the Sorento diagnosed and fully repaired within two hours flat. Firestone of Maple Grove is honest and won't sell you anything you don't need and their prices are very fair. But they struggle at diagnosing complex drivetrain issues, thus the reason for 3 stars.

Recently had my Rav4 in for a $1,000 alternator repair. Received car back with every quick-fastener not put back in correctly (or broken), an empty coolant tank (first step is to move the coolant tank on an alternator change) with coolant fluid spilled in the engine bay, my fenders not installed because they tried to get at the alternator from underneath, the protective shield on the bottom not installed correctly because they broke off the quick fasteners, and no screw holding down the coolant tank. I have no idea if they left anything else without a screw or even installed the alternator correctly. Returning to store tomorrow, and hopefully they have 1 master mechanic who can audit this mess, replace my coolant screw, provide an undamaged bottom shield, refill my coolant tank, verify every bolt is where it's supposed to be, and fix both wheel wells which have not been installed correctly.Update: Tyler (Service Manager) and Alex (Store Manager) received car this morning. Will update based upon their thoroughness to amend all issues and validate alternator was installed correctly, radiator was reinstalled correctly, and all miscellaneous parts/fluid levels put back to where they should be.Update 2: Alex worked on vehicle, replaced quick-fasteners with new ones, found a screw to hold down the coolant tank, filled coolant fluid with non-Toyota brand fluid (maybe just water?), repaired fenders that were not fastened. Informed that they used a remanufactured alternator at 2x the price of one from across the street, without my knowledge. No price adjustment for inconvenience or using a part I never authorized. Zero apology, just excuses that mechanics get a bad rap, wonder why. Will not be returning.Update3: Social media contact seen here responding to other posts has had zero follow up other than to send me another survey. Don't plan on getting resolution from them either.Final answer: go elsewhere. There is photographic evidence of the work they do at this shop. It's not worth the fear that they didn't fasten something back down. It's not worth the fear they didn't refill a vital tank. It's not worth the fear of a part being installed that's a used part without your knowledge. Go to a shop that is honest and has a leadership structure that makes sure quality is rolling out the door.Service: Air conditioning

I've taken my cars here before and received pretty good service. But for the past year or so it sucks. Most of the guys that work here seem to be pretty young, so I guess that would explain the lack of experience. My last 3 experiences here with 3 different vehicles, I took them one way and received them back with new problems or the problem that it went for was not fixed. So I will not be returning to this location ever again.

I am a DSP with Amazon that has been bringing out vans here for their services. Every time we have brought a vehicle here in the past 4 months it sits for several weeks with out being completed. Currently we have had a van sitting there since 7/30/23. We can see 4/5 services have already been completed. We were told this morning the last service was getting done today due to them having a “disabled vehicle” and only one lift to do the work. This is outrageous due to the fact over half the work was already done on the van before the “disabled vehicle” was put on the lift. It has been nothing but constant problems we have had with this shop. We will no longer be doing business here.

Lifetime alignment.This is the second vehicle I've brought to them for their lifetime alignment service... although the cost is about double a single alignment, the fact that you can have it rechecked for the life of your vehicle every 6 months or 3k miles makes this a "steal" if you care about your tire wear at all...Also, they are professional and good at what they do.

Called the day before to take my BMW in for a wheel alignment. Alex, the manager, informed me that while they could do it, they didn't have all the weights to do it to BMW's spec, but they would do the best they can. I went in the next day and and the car was done in an hour with a car up before mine. The car drives straight now. I want to note that Alex makes it a point to recognize everyone that comes in and to make them feel they are there with someone they can trust.

Went in for an alignment. Turns out I didn't need one, and was simply charged $20 for an inspection which diagnosed an issue on my car. I was also given fine prices on tires, when compared to other places.Staff is friendly, won't try and sell you things or push their credit card (lmao @ tiresplus), they just report the goings of your vehicle.The vending machine also serves white Monster, $3. Big ups for that one.Would go here again.

Quik appointment and ServiceFound nail in my BMWs rear wheel, made a call and got scheduled for the next day evening. Told that it would take half an hour.Went there. Gave my keys. Watched TV for half an hour before I was handed over my key. Even they did reset the TPMS.

I love Firestone. They're efficient and helpful in bringing down their charges. They looked for discounts online for me and they will also price match any other store.
