“So, I have to say I have been avoiding the Hamel post office for quite awhile. There was a gentleman that worked there that was just awful. Today I went in there because I didn't want to drive far because I don't live that far from it and the young woman that was working there today was a breath of fresh air. Just very nice and pleasant. I certainly hope she has replaced the other man. It would be different if he was awful every now and then but, no he was just unfriendly and gave such bad vibes everytime I dealt with him. I am giving these 4 stars to that young woman.”
“Idk about the passport side but I was there today and the lady that works at the post office counter was fabulous. I look forward to my next post office stop because she was a vibe. So helpful.”
“My go-to post office for short lines, friendly, helpful & efficient staff, clean environment, and respectful customers who know how to use the post office and don't monopolize the staff's time. I drive to use this post office rather than my own city's.”
“We had an Amazon package that had said “delivered” and it was no where to be found, I called the Rogers location & told them what had happened and they quickly resolved the issue. Our awesome mail lady walked up to our door today with the missing package and apologized for the delay. We appreciate all of their hard work during the holiday season. These employees don’t get enough credit for all of their deliveries all year round and especially during the busy holiday seasons. Thank you so much for all that you do!”
“I'll start by saying that I loved the help they were able to give me. I went to apply for my son's passport and they helped me in the best way possible and the procedures were fast. They made me feel welcome and there was one man in particular who helped me a lot. Most of the people were kind to my baby as well. I appreciate that they were very kind to me. :)”
“Just dropped a mail hold card and the clerk at the window said "leaving again?" And took.the card from me and said to have a good time. She knows me by now. I don't know her name but she is sooo nice!”
“I've only been here a handful of times, but when I do go the woman working the front counter has been efficient and pleasant to work with. Im sure it's a hard job, but she handles it with a great attitude. Someone give this woman a raise, she deserves it!”
“I just got out of a 72 hr hold and my aunt had me pick up her packages and let me tell you- these guys have done more for me than my therapist could EVERRRRRRRRRR... I'm no longer on Xanadu, Propofofo, Trapadoll, ect.... It was a great experience, definitely a vibe ?✨”
“This review is strictly for the representative I dealt with during my visit today, and not the USPS facility as a whole.
David was incredibly helpful and patient. I had a large number of return packages, each with its own QR code. I came prepared with order numbers, but the process was still slow and tedious—scanning each code individually and printing separate receipts before moving to the next.
Despite how frustrating that could have been, David stayed calm, patient, and kind. In a situation where others might have rolled their eyes or acted annoyed, David made light of it and joked with me along the way about my nonsensical order. His attitude helped keep the interaction smooth and stress-free.
Thank you, David, for your great attitude—it made a huge difference.”
“We had a great experience with our sons passport application at the post office! They were kind, helpful and made the process easy ☺️ They were even able to take his picture.”
“Ryan went out of his way to personally find a package that was delivered to the wrong address ( mistakes happen) I certainly didn't expect him to personally go check mailboxes near the scanned location then hand deliver it back to me at my job- GREAT customer service. 5 stars!”
“Its actually a 1. But, I want this location to stay open. It needs to hire more people. And it MUST have the outside collections redone. They just made all four of the postal bins inoperatable. Seriously only the one on the end is usable by anyone without having to get out of the car...”
“Had to pick up a couple packages during peak holiday season. Employees were helpful and kind, even when there was a long line. Pro tip, if you're there just to pick up a package, go to the blue door and ring that bell!”
“Excellent and patient customer service. They are definitley under staffed, yet they treat each customer as if ithey are the only one. One of the women went above and beyond for my son and I, and we appreciate it very much. Thank you - someone appreciates you all!”
“I've never had a bad experience at this post office, and my latest visit was no different. I have found that it helps to get there early in the day because it can get really busy. My only complaint is the parking lot is so full of potholes. And I agree that the new mailboxes are terrible.”
“My Name is NOT Steve. I am Linda and I think the service here is very good. Yes I have had to wait in line, but not long. Clerks have been knowledgeable and efficient and sometimes when not busy, even quite friendly. But then I am old, CIS gender, and white.”
“Staff were super nice and pretty quick with everything :) I came in to drop off a package that was prepaid by a customer and it only took 30 seconds or so for processing.
I’ve deducted a star for the building being pretty inaccessible, I’m disabled and the ramp going up to the curb was curved oddly and uneven as well as falling apart in some areas. The building did not have any buttons for doors and had a tight entrance as well as slimmer doors. Outside of the doors, there was a good amount of space in the hall and near the desks, but it’s just disappointing to see a federally owned post office not required to have an actually accessible building. It sucks that older buildings are exempt of following ADA regulations unless enforced by federal or state government directly. This isn’t the fault of anyone working there, it’s the fault of a failed system and I’m very disappointed that USPS as a whole is not required to have accessible buttons on the doors, yet is “required to be accessible”. That takes away majority of accessibility. Not accessible whatsoever, I shouldn’t need to wait for other people to walk by and open all the doors for me just for them to claim it’s accessible.”
