Typically if I wanted to purchase a TV I would go on Amazon and order what I wanted as I know there is never issues with customer service / returns etc. This time I decided I wanted to support a brick and mortar, you know, a place that employs our local community. WHAT A MISTAKE. I purchased a TV from best buy, I purchased a 2 year protection plan from best buy, my TV broke and I was told I need to go to the manufacturer of the TV for the first year and then the second year my "2 year warranty" kicks in. So really, I paid for 1 year of coverage bust Best Buy knowingly misleads their customers. The manufacturer was unable to repair the TV, from the time the TV broke to the time the manufacturer decided to refund the purchase of the TV was almost 8 weeks. When I called Best Buy to return the protection package for the TV that I no longer own & I was repeatedly transferred and hung up on. I was in complete shock at the lack of competence shown by Best Buy, will never shop at their store again, either should you. Scammers!

Came to buy a pair of bookshelf speakers.I thought the place was going out of business. There's nothing on the shelves. I had to go to the guy watching the front door to ask if they had the speakers I was looking for he said yes, let me call somebody to help you.Nobody responded. He said, "Go wait by the soundbars. Somebody will be up shortly.Yeah right. I literally drove 50 miles to this Best Buy. Just for these speakers and I was ignored, I guess they don't want my money. I've been buying stuff from this location since the 80s. You name it car stereos, appliances surround systems. I will never buy anything from Best Buy ever again.

Got a great router, and they took the old one for a rebate. So rare to get paid to recycle!

Lazy Staff
Visited on 02/05/25 around 12pm. The item is was looking for was not on the shelf. I went and asked the cashier (Carter) if they can see if the item is in another store. Carter searches and finds that their location does indeed have it, it's probably in their back warehouse. Carter then pages to his coworkers.
After a few mins, a different staff asks if I needed help. Since it has only been a few mins, I said the cashier called someone to help look for an item i wanted. The associate then walks away.
I then waited for another 20-25 mins. Carter, the cashier, even paged 2 more times while tending to other cashiers at the check out. Even he was poking his head out onto the sales floor to see why aren't there anyone helping. No other staff members bothered to even do anything. 1 staff member walked by me twice. Another one was just standing around in the floor section and wasn't even helping any other customers. Even the manager of the store didn't respond to the page from Carter (she even walked by me after tending to a maintenance personal). Finally after about 25 mins of waiting, the cashier had time, went to the back warehouse, and found the item, and it took him no more than 10 seconds. 10 seconds to help me, a customer, but I had to wait almost 30 mins.
After my transaction, I went to their staff member stationed at the door which presume to be their lost prevention. I asked for the manager. She was currently helping a customer at the Geek squad counter. But the worker paged her, and she replied back. About 5 mins later, a customer is now standing in the Geek Squad line. After about another 5 mins, the manager finishes with the customer. And instead of telling the customer waiting in line to hold since my request was first and the Lost Prevention stated that "her presence is needed ASAP". The manager helps the next person making me wait even longer.
If that's her management skills, it explains why there's so many lazy staff members at that location.
Apparantly the cashier Carter is the only worker there NOT lazy.

New layout seems to have a lot less product in the store, nobody around except at the front door to ask questions of and when you do find someone they're specific to one section of the store.

Due to sloppy service and not careful handling, my SD-Card was trashed by the tech team. They charged me $160 to violently pull out an SD-Card and then were refused to try to extract remaining data files on it. 1/5 is generous given considerable and unnecessary damage to my item.

I stand there looking stupid while all the employees walk around me despite me making it obvious I need help, useless every time I go. I just go to Walmart or target at this point

Shane in mobile phones for Samsung was amazing!!! I tried to call the store to talk to the store manager but I guess that's not an option anymore. My screen was broken and I couldn't unlock it. He was able to unlock and transfer my 7000 photos to my new phone. He was so patient and provided the best service I think I have gotten in years. You guys need to give him a raise and make sure you keep him. I will be back to buy another phone next month but only if he is there! Great job Shane 👏
