We had one meeting with my wedding planner who felt she was a good fit for us (shoutout Jenna Culley) and from there she not only worked within our budget and my (very specific) plan/likes/dislikes but when I walked into our ceremony and reception I was FLOORED with the sheer amount of flowers we got for our budget. I was actually overwhelmed. I also happen to know she did a lot of behind the scenes work and helped a lot with setup while our venue had a few mishaps. For someone who didn't want to overspend on floral---our wedding sure looked like I did! “I live out of state and googled Flowers in St Paul, as I wanted a local shop for 2 very special arrangements. It was the day before Christmas Eve, and the temps were well below zero. I found this arrangement and knew it would be perfect for my brother in St Paul. I ordered it in the morning and it arrived later that day. My brother was very happy with the quality and funky design, it brought him much needed joy during a stressful times. “Wonderful customer service!! I was gifted some tulips for Mother's Day that arrived from A Pocket Full of Posies in OK-ish shape. I used my grandmothers advice and popped a couple pennies in the vase which helped them perk up a bit. I'm sure it was very busy with the holiday... The florist offered to replace them after the fact, which was very generous!”
“Yes, hyvee prices are higher than nearby competitors (this is my main draw back and why I'm rating the store only four stars). However, the store has a much wider selection. Take for example today when I needed a small salmon fillet. I checked at an unspecified nearby grocery store with considerably lower prices, but was unable to find what I needed. Any other day I would have found an alternative to save me the trip to another store, but with a wild adolescent weasel roaming my basement, I was not willing to risk it. Thankfully Hyvee had exactly what I needed-4oz salmon fillets are sold at their seafood counter! (fingers crossed the salmon works. Otherwise I'll need to find another way to lure out the vermin) One things for sure, next time I have to get bait for a wild animal in my house, I'll save myself the time and go to hyvee right away!”
“A very dazzling array of colors and flowers, I loved it!!! A total surprise anniversary gift and I received a phone call and a text message before the delivery, asking if I was home, informing me that a delivery was on its way!I wasn’t able to meet them, but they immediately confirmed what they did with the delivery and I was able to get to them promptly (thanks also to our apartment building). The flowers are superb! Thank you!”

“Hyvee is a nice place to go when you get tired of Cub Foods, Target, Walmart. It's a little breath of fresh air. Has a little of everything. From pet food, pharmacy, plants, bathroom essentials etc. They also have a good variety of fresh food places you can eat, from Asian to American food. It's a nice selection. They have a wine and spirits and gas station as well but they are not connected to the store but within the same area.”
