I was very pleased with Jessica's work in the printing area. She was friendly, patient, competent (though new there!), and helpful with my printing project. I believe she is and asset to that department and to the store in general.

The print department does a great job overall for the machines they have available. Even if they get it a bit off at first, they quickly remedy it.

When I stopped in last night to get flyers and tickets printed at 5:30, I was informed that the print station area was closed for the evening. There was only 1 other customer in the store. If you want to go bankrupt as a chain, allow the employees to rule the store. I can’t imagine why print services aren’t offered at a reasonable time for people to use them after getting out of work. Have no fear, I’ll look for another vendor to serve my print needs. 2nd poor customer experience in as many visits to Office Depot. The other one was the Eagan location. Nothing says we want to go bankrupt more than providing poor customer experience.

Here is a summary of my grievances against Office Depot/Office Max:
1. I have used them several times to scan photos that are too large for my own photo scanner. However, OfficeMax compresses the photos, so that they are more blurry than they should be.
2. Since it is hard and expensive to find the right ink cartridges for my printer, I tried using this OfficeMax location to print out a 12 page document, in color, only to have the machine tell me that it was "too expensive." It wanted $8.40 to print the document in color, but they have a maximum limit of $5 in place. That's just ridiculous.
3. They price gouge everything, and are aggressive about trying to make you a rewards member, or tip every time you purchase. Their ballpoint pens and ink cartridges are both way too expensive.
This company should not be in business with the level of greed and penny-pinching going on here.

Very bad experience today I was trying to fax some document. Staff was very annoyed by us some how trying to avoid us. Not trying to help.

I needed a print of one of my illustrations made quick for a salon entry, and I had a really positive experience with Jon in the print center at the Maplewood OfficeMax location. He was helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating- even at the end of his work day. The quality of the print came out better than I'd been lead to believe a public printer might produce. I'm glad to know I can come here for future full-color printing needs.

Stood in line, waiting and waiting. 2 sales clerk behind counter. Both of us, customers, amputees, kept waiting. I asked why, I was told "he's doing tags". I asked why when 2 ADA people were unnecessarily kept standing. One of us was in a wheelchair, I was standing with a Cane. Another clerk saw us too.
Thank you very much, unnecessarily kept standing, it was difficult.

The cashier named KATE is absolutely fabulous. I've had several positive encounters with her and am SO impressed with her friendliness and helpful attitude. I would actually go out of my way to shop at this location because of Kate. In a world where excellent customer service seems to be dying a slow death, this lady is a shining example of how to take care of customers and do it right.

Best pricing and availability. Dan the cashier was on the ball with an inviting greeting upon entry and had outstanding customer service. Clean and well stocked store!

Nice location. Decent selections. Has a little of everything.
Typical office stuff like printers, scanners, notebooks and writing utensils.
Also has moving supplies, storage bins, computers, bags and a screens.
Has some random stuff you wouldn't think would be there like Ester bottles and Keurig stuff.
