“Personal background: 30 years ago, I was very active. I did weight training and aerobics, was in a Romanian dance troupe, gardened, and just enjoyed a physical life.
Now, I am going to be 70. I have back and neck issues from car accidents, vertigo/balance challenges, and advanced autoimmune disease. These conditions have left me weak, tired, and increasingly sedentary. My body was shutting down. My brain told me to get active or else, so my husband and I joined Anytime Fitness and purchased some group sessions to help us get started. My goals are to regain flexibility, endurance, strength, and improve my balance.
Shay was very nice. His plan explanations were thorough, his club orientation was helpful, and he made the process so easy. We felt comfortable and welcomed thanks to Shay.
I go to the active aging sessions. Kaan is an awesome trainer. He's positive, encouraging, gives clear direction and personal suggestions for doing exercises correctly for my body's limitations as well as my goals.
We also tried the free evening yoga class that is offered. It was too challenging for me, but my husband is going to continue going for the stretching and other benefits.
The gym itself is well organized, clean, and has roomy designated areas for various activities. There are plenty of aerobic type machines and free weights.
We both highly recommend this location. After just a week, we feel completely at home and comfortable, and as if the guys are totally going to help us if we ever have questions. As we are in Minnesota only 5 months out of the year, we will also be going to a Florida location. I hope they are as wonderful as Shay and Kaan.”

“Top end AF! old school flat bench, first time I've ever seen spotter hooks at an AF. Wide assortment of bars including a safety squat bar. Great shower stalls, mediocre water pressure. Overall in the top %10 of my AF location ratings”
“I got a day pass for Iron Alliance gym. Although I highly recommend it for anyone who is serious about training it’s welcoming enough no matter what your level of experience is. There is a nice variety of equipment choices but I especially enjoyed using their Prime equipment. The staff were also friendly and made things easy. I’ll be back.”

“I’ve never liked group fitness until I came across Basecamp. It’s the perfect workout. You always leave sweating and like you got a good workout. The staff are amazing and so friendly. I started on a free trial and I’m absolutely hooked. I would 10 out of 10 recommend it!!!! The neon lights are just an added plus. I like it so much I canceled my Lifetime Fitness membership after 5 years… if that tells you anything”

Clean location, large space, all of the gym equipment one could need. Locker room was spacious. Forgot to bring my own lock tho. Clean showers. The best thing was no hassle to sign up for a membership.”

“I started coming to this gym about 6 months ago and have really enjoyed my time as well as seen some results. I like the 24-hour availability that just is not there in a lot of other gyms, because the hours of 8-10 pm work best for me a lot of days. All of the trainers/coaches/managers have seemed very nice and helpful in interactions I have had and witnessed and they seem to genuinely care about creating a positive and welcoming space. Cleanliness occasionally could be a bit better, but honestly gymgoers bear just as much, if not more responsibility, for that, so I can't fault the overall gym too much for that. Does get slightly full depending upon timing, but have never felt so crowded that I couldn't do what I needed to do.”

It's not overly busy, so I could do everything I needed for my workout which makes going back to anytime worth the price and convenience.

“Love this kickboxing-classes gym with great music during their classes! Very beginner friendly. This is the location on Selby Ave in St Paul, and it is so much fun! Every other day is weightlifting classes, and included with the membership is nutrition coaching. Incredibly positive coaches with so much experience. Classes are available Monday-Saturday in the mornings and in the late afternoon/evening. Online classes are also available. Weightlifting is with dumbbells and exercise bands, which promotes great results. No direct sparring (whew!) but rather, you often pair up and share a punching bag (often one person is punching/kicking while the other person does body-weight exercises). Lots of diversity in the classes: Black, white, hIspanic, LGBTQ+, all ages, teachers, nurses, social workers, electricians, overweight, fit…and they are incredibly open to newbies—don’t think that you have to be an amazing expert to start here. :-) They often have specials where you can get the first week free to try it out! They often have 10-week challenges (one person at the location wins $1000!) but you can join in at any time. Most people don’t wait for a challenge to start classes, they just start coming, and then join a challenge when one comes up (about four times a year). Classes are “gamified” in a really fun way that I’ve never seen before, there is email (and Facebook group) support, and everything is done to make the classes as effective, safe, fun, and supportive as possible. Wow!That’s me in the picture. You can’t really tell in the photo, but I’ve lost my Covid-gut in the 2 months I’ve been going! It’s been incredibly good for my mental health, which in turn helps me be not only more effective at work, but also be a more patient and positive family member.”
“The staff here is so friendly. Especially the Kids Academy staff! My son loves Amy and is excited when she is there. But, he always loves going to play no matter who is there! He asks to go to the gym almost every night and is sad when I come to pick him up because the staff is fun and super interactive!”

“I joined PF in early 2024. It's a good gym for my needs. Equipment is in good shape & there's rarely a wait other than a couple popular machines during busy times. I use the treadmill for basic fitness, & some machines for core & other strength training. I was disappointed that there aren't really knowledgeable trainers, but I figured out how to use several machines for the additional knee surgery rehab I can't do at home.
My main issue is with the maintenance of the restrooms. The privacy partition for the women's handicap stall has not been properly anchored to the wall this entire year+, such that you can't even lock the door. The handicap toilet hasn't been properly anchored to the floor all this time too. This is especially bad for those of us who are actually handicapped! I have brought this up to a couple of workers behind the desk, but of course these are jobs for your building maintenance crew. Another task they need to take care of is the exterior door closer. The door slams & that could result in a much more expensive repair down the road, especially on a windy day! I'd love to see these items repaired soon! (I can only assume the men's room could also use a gander by your maintenance crew.)”

“Excellent club. Great instructors, trainers, hospitality staff, food service staff are all top notch. Club is smaller and usually less busy. Good variety of classes and recovery area. Red light beds, infrared sauna, steam rooms men and women separate. Large lap pool and co ed spa whirlpool. Miora is great. Steve F is the BEST! Alex, Fiona, Chloe, Sydney, Brent, Bruno, Nina and all the janitorial staff is exceptional. Good selection of equipment. Locker rooms and club is always clean and smells good. The people at the cafe are ALWAYS friendly and the food is good.”
