This is a cozy, one-story bookstore with a really nice and thoughtfully curated collection of books. Whether you're into fiction, non-fiction, or just browsing for something new, you're likely to find something that catches your eye. The layout is simple and easy to navigate, and the shelves are well-stocked without feeling overwhelming.
The staff here are super friendly and approachable — they genuinely seem to enjoy being there and are happy to help if you’re looking for recommendations or need help finding something.
One thing to note is that there isn’t a seating area or café space inside. Unlike some other bookstores that have a Starbucks or a lounge area where you can sit down and read a few chapters, this one is more of a grab-and-go kind of place. It would be nice to have a quiet corner to flip through a book before buying, but even without that, it's still a great stop for book lovers.
Overall, it’s a great place to support local and discover your next read. Just don’t expect to linger for too long unless you're standing!

inventory and deals were good. The one male staff that approached me was not helpful, or at least was unaware that the product I was seeking existed at all. I felt the level of service I was given was short and limited, while the female customer next to me was showered with attention and recommendations. I left empty-handed and ordered the illustrated version of the hobbit online that he said probably didn't exist (there are dozens of versions to pick from)

I am grateful to have at least one main stream bookstore near me, but it is small and I didn't find what I was looking for.

I know, Barnes & Noble contributed to the decline of independent bookstores (and Amazon has done the same to B&N). That aside, this particular location is quite nice. They have a vast selection of gifts and super sought after Legos. The children/teen selection is vast, and has an excellent assortment of comic novels for those pre-teen readers in your life.
Great place to stop when you need a last minute gift and don’t have the option of shopping small.

Sadly this whole area has gone way downhill. Did get some really great stuff on clearance. But seeing at least three people passed out on the sidewalk diffently means I sadly won't likely come back. This was my go to barnes and noble for at least 20 years but I don't venture into Minneapolis very much anymore. This used to be a very nice area with a nice array of stores.

This is a nice Barnes & Nobel, great kids section. Parking lot is a bit small, but I’ve always found a spot.

Stopped in this store yesterday on a specific mission. A woman approached me and asked if I needed help. She could not have been more helpful or kind. She definitely knew the meaning of good customer service. She even had other associates help in the search. Sadly I did not catch her name but she rang me out at the register and the cashier # was 4381. I hope it's you. You were definitely "the little engine that could". I left a very satisfied customer.

Attended a book signing for the book, “You Deserve Good Gelato” by Kacie Rose. The event went well. We arrived early and didn't feel rushed. The author took her time with us which was super nice. Lovely event

Emily is such a gem! She helped with setting me up with a membership and was super charismatic. Chatting with her was a great start to my morning. :)

It's tried and true ... sometimes you just wanna hold a book and leaf through a few pages before deciding vs ordering online. This is a well-appointed shop with a bit of everything. My daughter also had no trouble finding the YA books she wanted from Tik Tok (Book Tok?). They also have some really candles and other cute gift ideas. The team is great as well! Everyone who we have encountered has been friendly and helpful. Great shop!
