Grew up playing and walking through this park almost every day. My mom taught at Bethune School. Phyllis Wheatley was my first job at 14. I love that they have added a pool for the children to enjoy. It was a joy to see the new changes and to have my children play there.

The park is behind a community center. They have a kids pool, a nice path around the park, picnic tables, and playgrounds. I attended the Juneteenth celebration. Really enjoyed myself and the park setting.

Lots of children having old fashion fun outside playing together. Great safe clean environment.Playground: Lots of large muscle activities, plenty of swings, slides, obstacle objects, a big tire swing, basketball courts; biking, scooter and skateboard lanes and more.Picnic area: Tables and benches.
