I found this place by chance the night before, when I was looking for coffee shops in the area. This is a pretty small space, but very warm and inviting. These folks are still practicing covid safety protocols which is extremely reassuring, and they have an expansive selection of leftist political books, various categories ranging from theory and history to cooking and mental wellness. They even have children's and young adult books! There's something in here for everyone, and I'm really glad I visited. Will definitely be back whenever I find myself in the area again!

Look, I'm pretty progressive, but this place was a snoozefest. The book selection was slim, and the staff was like... very tense. Seems like they need a vacation.

I can’t say I agree with all of the politics of this bookstore but I did find their selections very admirable. I was able to find two books to buy in such a robust small selection which is incredible. I walked to the store so parking wasn’t an issue, staff is very friendly and accommodating. I think other bookstores could thrive following this incredible model.

Came here to donate supplies to the Sanctuary Supply Depot and left with some free things off the free shelf, a button, and a nice embroidered patch. Lots of very cool books in this place! I'll be back.

I lived in the Seward neighborhood several years ago, and this was definitely the best part of living there. A beautiful little bookshop with great people.

Made a mistake of trusting the google store hours. They had not updated on google maps. This is the new one.

It was great here, I loved the selection! A lot of books you just can't find anywhere else. A nice big queer literature & anarchist section.
