Went in to get a new SIM card for their new "Expanded Network" but not install it yet. (SIM tray was broken inside of phone and I hadn't been able to get it repaired yet) While there they asked for my details, including what model phone I had. My phone isn't new enough for 5G, but functions perfectly well on 4G LTE. I got home and the SIM was deactivated, even though I had told them not to!Luckily I was able to repair the phone that evening, but when I swapped the SIM cards I had no service. I tried to get it activated on the tech support line and they told me I would have to go back in. I went back in to the store and they told me my device wasn't compatible with the new network! If they knew it wouldn't be compatible why did they give me a new SIM and deactivate the one that was functional???Appears to be some sort of bait-and-switch to get me to buy a new phone from them ("luckily" I was eligible for some 50% off promotions). I drove over to the T-Mobile at the Quarry and signed up for service there instead. I've had my account with Boost (first Virgin Mobile) for 12+ years, but I'd advise people to steer clear now.

They ripped me off 2 different times. Then they guy told me, he can not surve female costermers with out promotion from a spouse. Dude you are in the United States of America, women have rights. a very rude a disrespectful additude tords me. And they are almost never open on time. If you are a paying customer who wants to be treated as a paying customer then just go out to the Brooklyn Park location.

Went in to store to find a good deal on a new phone and service. "Manager"?? said he could set me up with the phone and plan that I wanted for a grand total, that day, of approx. $251.00. But before I could say sign me up, he said he had a deal whereby I could get my phone for free. A "savings" of $149.99. Well, "Hook me up" I said. So, he performed his magic and in about an hour, I had the phone I wanted and my plan out the door. All for $147.75. Or so I thought. What he actually did was falsify a phone number so he could "port" me in as a customer of Metro PCS switching to Boost. Then he put me on a "Family Plan" (which I didn`t order) for $44.00 more per month than the plan I thought I had signed up for. Plus $7.00 per month per phone for insurance on two phones (which I didn`t order). I never received any 2nd phone, though I was assigned a phone number for it. Since I was there during work hours, I hustled back to work where, as I was setting up my new phone, I discovered what had actually happened. I returned to the store immediately and asked the "Manager" about making things right and his attitude was that I was ungrateful for the wonderful thing he had done for me in giving me a free phone. And that I was being unreasonable in asking for what I had ordered. All this in spite of the fact that he sold me something I had not requested and, to top it off, he didn`t even give me what he had sold me. So, I am out $147.75. Boost Mobile has lost a RETURNING customer. And I am strongly recommending that NO ONE do business with the thieves at this location or any of the other locations (including Metro PCS) run by this retailer and his brother as it turns out. This review is being posted everywhere I can post it. Including the Boost Mobile Corporate sites.
