i used to come here a lot to shop & sell, i sold them a pair of my jeans on a thursday and asked them to put them on hold for my friend until saturday, and my friend drove over 2 hours to buy them and they didn’t even hold them for the full 2 days for him when they promised they would :( i can put up with how pretentious everyone here is but not staying true (religion ;) to your word is very lame :(

Place is a ripoff spot. They used to be a good place for thrifting but now they sell for almost full price on a lot of items and selling is even worse. Doesn't matter if it's name brand or brand new. They will lowball your lowball offer. Talking 3.25 for 9 items. Like why even offer a selling option if you're gonna screw everybody over. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I actually had a whole bag of all kinds of good clothes like 4-5 months ago and I was waiting for like hour cuz it was few people in front of me I seen everyone who went up to the counter and give them their stuff . The only with the big ponytail who wears her hair up and she skinny with lot of makeup was the one who did lot of people and then another lady came over and was helping her which he didn't need but still did ... When I came up the one with the ponytail actually seem like she cared enough to look at everything while the another one was just putting things back in the bag and didn't even look at the good stuff ... And then I brought my child in the store and the one who didn't need to help said we don't sell baby clothes like I'm don't know that already and wanted to be funny and then they both laughed horrible service treat people with respect and don't try to be funny to customers smh ...

Shopped here today for the first time after hearing great things and was definitely impressed! It was Saturday, so pretty busy, but staff was very helpful, patient, and kind. A staff member offered to hang up my selections at the dressing room area while I finished browsing. Helpful staff members also circulated throughout the dressing area offering to grab different sizes or help customers if needed. Clothing selection was excellent and well priced in my opinion, super cute/trendy/vintage selection. I went in just expecting to browse and ended up finding several great pieces to buy!

I go to buffalo exchange pretty often. I enjoy their clothing selection and I love to shop there. However, beware when it comes to selling. I still sell here, as it’s a good way for me to get rid of clothes & save money, but the staff are very nitpicky about the clothes they take. If you have high end items that are “out of style” they likely won’t take the items. Also, be prepared as sometimes they’ll take one look at your stuff and say “no, this doesn’t fit the theme we want.” This can be really frustrating, as their criteria varies between the staff members. For example, you could bring in a vintage GAP hoodie in good condition; and they won’t take it. You bring in a top from target that’s still in style, they’ll take it. Just be weary of their pickiness, and the amount they pay you as well.

You have to be prepared to go here. The people who work there are obnoxious and you’ll probably leave feeling badly. My advice is to go in with a mission and try to tune out the employees. Terrible vibes

Great selection, and outstanding customer service at this location! It was my first time trading in clothes, and they were very friendly in walking me through the process.

Coming from a city where the Buffalo locations are extremely messy and subpar, this Buffalo Exchange carries a wide variety of clothes from not just fast fashion brands. It can definitely get a bit cramped trying to squeeze between people and the clothing racks, even on a random weekday around noon.

fantastic people with great attitudes and customer service. fun items and some hidden gems but I have better luck at a true thrift store 9/10 times. they seem to value trend over quality

Seem like they only take certain clothes from certain people. I’ve brought clothes similar to them ones on the sales floor and they still didn’t take them and most them brand new idk but they don’t know fashion like they think they do!!

Buffalo Exchange in Uptown Minneapolis, MN is a top-tier, premium brand consignment clothing store. Staying "on-trend," they only purchase brands which are known for fit, quality, and what is in the trending spotlights of social media and fashion.Upon entering the trendy Uptown recycled clothing store I was impressed at the organization. They have categorized designer clothing, jeans, and they also have a "Currently Trending Fashion" section. This is where you can easily find what influencers are showing across social and what locals are wearing. The store is a set up with a men's section and women's. They have a section for everything; shoes, sunglasses, designer handbags. The visual organization, selection of recycled fashion from current trends, and trendy-friendly staff make it a MUST stop shop in Uptown Minneapolis.
