Clare Housing is a fabulous place to work. They do incredible things to get people into housing and keep them in housing.

I've been rejected for housing twice. Perhaps if I deal drugs it would increase my chances of landing an apartment there?

Look, I've never experienced a more professional, understanding, helpful and loving staff than at Clare Housing. My experience of signing my first ever lease, at age 47 was mind‐boggling simple, ostensibly because I'm not behind the scenes working hard, going the extra mile. I moved back to MN on June 23rd 2022 and stayed at Higher Ground shelter (peep my review) until I signed my lease yesterday September 23rd, only three months if you can believe it... Every Staff member is a smile and an ear. I could go on and on but you need to get your behind down to Clare to see for yourself!

I've been working with Clare Housing for over a year and a half now, and I can say that Clare Housing is an exceptional nonprofit organization.Their model of affordable, supportive housing with linkages to healthcare is the formula to address the pernicious challenge of living in poverty with HIV. Not only are health outcomes for residents here significantly better than average, they are also saving tax-payers money. Really supporting them is a no-brainer.If you'd like to learn more and volunteer, come to one of their Journey Home programs. This free one-hour event will teach you all you need to know about the link between supportive housing and healthcare for people living with HIV.

I have been involved with CLare Housing as a volunteer since 1998. I have served on the board for a total of 14 years, so I know the place inside and out. From my persepective, it is a wise steward of resources and plays a critical part in ending new HIV infections due to the housing and support programs they provide. I cook once a month at one of the care homes, and it's definitely a highlight of my month!

The agreement we sign is extremely limiting and poorly written. My attempts to rewrite the lease were rebuffed by a cyberattack that deleted the rewrite of the document. What can you expect from a place that has an elevator from a company called Schindler?
