Collision Bonilla has extremely poor communication and focuses on unnecessary upselling. Despite explicitly instructing them not to paint my car without my permission, they went ahead and did it anyway (see attached). Additionally, they attempted to hold my car in their lot without my consent, but I won’t tolerate this behavior. I thank God I have two other vehicles, so I’m not completely stuck. I am fully aware of my legal rights and will take the necessary steps to address this situation.

‼️🚨please don’t make the same mistake I made that I regret walking in there and asking for a service in my vehicle. You will encounter dishonest people and you will be lied to.
NOT RECOMMENDED based in my experience heard me out and make your own conclusions.
As I said I walked in asking for a problem that was causing my cars battery drain.. worse mistake I made, Sergio will tell you that yes they can do everything and that they do everything and that that’s what they good at. He was leave your vehicle, I was like great that’s what I was looking for, I leave my vehicle and my nightmare begins 💀💀😪
Everything worked just fine in my 91 suburban, the only problem the previous owner told me that it had a kill switch in the battery because the battery would die after 10+ hours of not driving, well I was like I like this truck and I can spend some to fix it, okay went to Bonillas, I ask if they do electrical work thinking that that was the problem, they said yes okay so September 28 they work on it, October 01 was supposedly ready, they said they removed the kill switch and clean the wires 700 of labor + 150 for new battery, October 2 the new battery finally drain completely, brought it back, oct 3 and they had it all the way until oct 17 got call that they found the problem and it was coming from the steering wheel that they had to removed and mess the the wiring in there, before that they put a new alternator 150 for the alternator plus 50 for another part switch part, and said that truck is ready and been fixed..he was trying to charge me for the labor but i said that the problem was never fix so he gave me a supposedly discount now I am over 1000 dollars, I was like okay as long it is been fixed, that’s when their scamming tactics, tricks, dishonesty, lies etc I can go on and on this tactics begin. the steering wheel was loose didn’t even got up or drove it, didn’t even took it home so had to uber back home.. so the truck stay there for another 2 weeks or so, I have to call him oct 25 saying it’s ready come we need to talk, just to tell me the truck is ready again and that in the process of working they said they had to cut the horn wire thing, and to get the new part or an adapter for my horn to work and it would be 350 but I said don’t have the money but I said that it used to work but he didn’t care that use to work he wanted 350 more, I took it home just to find out at night that only high beam was only working not the low beam because they didn’t put the steering wheel back together right, so I brought it back immediately Monday cuz they close in the weekend and they didn’t work on because the mechanic was sick so stay there all week until they finally told me to go pick it up… and from there my nightmare and loosing my temper starts as things getting worse, they forgot to connect a part that makes the heater work so I told them and they call the mechanic who was working on it it took him an hour to get there, I also find out that the rear window battom dont work to roll the window in the rear back, Mechanic comes connects the part that obviously someone disconnected and heater works like it did before,, but the other bottoms don’t work and he said that he didn’t mess around there, but like I said it used to work, also they took or stole the kelsey energized trailer brake controller because it’s not there anymore and surprisingly they never told me they had removed that never did they told me or explain, maybe that was the easy problem for my battery drain but they are dishonest and will lie to you and on top of that they will call you a liar.. they never told me it had been removed I had to find out myself.that’s all very sketchy to me and I’m having a bad experience for something that I thought It was going to be done and fixed correctly. Now I am stuck with my back window that doesn’t rolled down or roll up. Because I’m very sure they messed some wires that they don’t wanna man up instead they want to call me a liar and that that windows bottom never worked. When it always worked. Not

Wow. I am impressed with this place. I had gone to a larger body shop for an estimate - you had to schedule the estimate weeks out, then schedule the work months out. Not here! I walked in and got an immediate estimate. Sergio (owner) told me I could drop it off right then and have it back in a week.
I was skeptical about the fast turnaround, but I was wrong. Dropped it off Monday morning and they were done Friday afternoon. They fixed more than what I asked for and they detailed the car inside and out.
My 10 year old vehicle looks almost new again. I will be going back for future needs.

Exellent. Very, very fast and very high-qualty work. Rreplacement of entire front bumper, grillle and washer assembly completed between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM of the same day. My car is 11 years old, but will be my transportation for some years to come, I hope. I am very grateful for Collision Bonilla's excellent, very fast and courteous work.

These guys are amazing! 10/10 recommend! I came in and within seconds a team member was accessing my car and told me on the spot how much repair would cost. They’re fair, reasonable and fast! Within 24 hours my car was ready for pickup and looked good as new. They treat you like family and are beyond kind.

Collision Bonilla does it all! Superb, high quality work and customer service. Adriana greets you with her beautiful smile and reassuring help. Sergio makes it all beautiful and shiny! I've needed their services twice and have been beyond pleased! And today I learned that they also do engine and general auto repair. Brakes, oil changes, the whole thing! I highly recommend this business! And, my car literally looked like it had detailed inside and out! Thank you, Sergio and Adriana!

Really wanted to like Sergio’s work. But this place is all quantity and no quality. I’ve had two experiences here. First time I asked for a low budget paint job. I understood I get what I paid for, but I feel like Sergio guys attempted to do more poorly versus doing limited amount of things decently. They glued the emblems on awfully and I have spots of overspray. I even asked them to fix it, just to have them repaint the back door a slightly different color. Top it off with 3.5 months post $3.2k paint job I have peeling happening. The second experience I came after the car got broken into. They were gracious and took the car immediately. But everything afterwards was awful. The adjuster came by and wrote the estimate. Door lock, dash, glove box, and back window replacement. The dash is a discontinued color and was only cosmetically damaged. So I opted to have only the glove box, lock, and window done. Picked up the car. There’s broken glass still in the rear door, which makes noise when I open it. The lock now makes the alarm go off when I try to open it with my key, and it worked just fine before break in. And the glove box wasn’t done. After two weeks and many phone calls between the shop and insurance, Sergio claimed the glove box needed the dash ($1.5k part and labor) replaced for proper installation. I called his bluff, asked for a refund and had the glove box bought used for $60 and installed myself in 10 mins with no rattle as he claimed it would. Both experiences make me think this shop just wants to push out work quickly just to make more money, every time I left the car they took 2-3 days at most (a red flag I know now). And this isn’t even considering I was treated like a Niña Fresa/No Sabo kid. Sergio consistently acted like I didn’t know anything and he was too busy to be nice to me after spending $4k at his business. Example: he stayed on the phone while I was paying cash for work. I brought enough money that I needed change. He counted it in front of me, just to pocket the whole thing. Didn’t bother getting off the phone, and handed me my keys.He could definitely be nice for my parents and grandparents who I assumed he thought the money came from. I got treated like a picky child, instead of a paying customer. Makes me sad as I would rather support a small business I live just blocks away from, but unfortunately this isn’t the one I’d continue going to.
