I've had 2 sets of hearing aids from Costco over the years. They are very helpful and professional. I've dealt with other hearing aid places (for my parents) and on more than one occasion they closed permanently, leaving their customers in the lurch. Thanks Costco!

On the phone, I was given a 2:45 appointment but the employee who made the appointment apparently wrote down 12:45. I checked in at 2:30. At 3:20, I asked why I wasn't being seen and others with later appointments were being helped. The employee shuffled some papers and told me my appointment was at 12:45. I explained that I was in a meeting at 12:45 and never would have agreed to that time. Their employee made a mistake. I was told I was wrong and there was nothing they could do. Really poor customer service by an employee who clearly was not trained properly. I'll pay more somewhere else rather than put up with "McDonald's" type employees who can't handle their jobs.

I've been wearing hearing aids for a number of years with a number of different vendors. This Costco operation is absolutely the best I've dealt with.

My friend, who is deaf (I'm deaf too), went to this Costco for a job interview last month and then the boss called his workforce counselor and told her that he won't be hired because he's deaf!! I'm not kidding here, he actually told the state-funded vocational worker clearly that he won't be hired because of his disability. This is unacceptable!! We're seeking lawsuit against this company and this wacky f***ed up boss, and I will tell my friends and family never to shop at this ridiculous place ever again! His hearing parents got extremely upset and stopped being loyal to costco after they heard the news. Don't waste your money on this shop if they don't support equal opportunity!

I just got a quote from their tire department for 4 new tires on my Honda Element: $779 -I've purchased high performance tires for a twin turbo sports car rated at 200 mph for cheaper than that. I will feel much better about giving my business to a mom and pop tire store on this one.

Yes, it's possible to buy ridiculously huge quantities of food that will go bad before you use it, but if you're a smart shopper, you can do very well at Costco. We're a household of only two people, but get great cuts of meat (re-package and freeze what we don't use right away), save at the pharmacy, and have bought a number of discounted electronic items. We even found a beautiful Italian leather couch for less than a third of its retail value. My main complaint is that you can't get too attached to any particular product since they often disappear, never to return. But all in all, an excellent shopping value.
