We're really thankful to work with Dave and his team! We got multiple estimates to replace our rusty and leaking gutters and rotten wood soffit and fascia. Dave's estimate was the most competitive and we appreciated that he had multiple payment options. He kept us updated on the timing and his team did a great job removing the old gutters/soffit/fascia and installing the new aluminum gutters/soffit/fascia. I'd highly recommend him and will definitely be reaching out to him for future house projects!

Dave is an amazing roofer, honest and reliable and also less expensive than every other company I contacted. I did a lot of Internet digging before deciding to go with him and I was not disappointed. You hear so many horror stories about roofing companies and my experience with Dave and his crew was nothing short of perfection. My insurance was paying and I ended up needing a re-deck which we had not initially accounted for and Dave helped me immensely with the back and forth with the insurance company who tried to say that they did not need to pay for the re-deck. Dave insisted that they did and with his guidance I was able to get them to approve the extra funds. I also appreciated that instead of just putting my roof back on like it had been before he made sure everything was up to code and did not take any shortcuts. He shows up when he says he will and his communication is excellent. His team was professional and cleaned up well. They did forgot some lumber in my back yard and I went out of town for two months so I did not realize they had not come to get it, so when I came home I called Dave and he had someone come back and it was gone by the end of the week, no questions asked. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable, honest roofing company.Service: Roof installation

We had a new roof put on in 2012, with a ten-year guarantee . Nine years later a very violent wind and rain storm caused leakage around some flashing—and Bahr’s men were out to fix it in the next day or two. We definitely recommend DS Bahr!

We contacted Dave Bahr 2022 summer for an estimate for our roof. It was a challenging time to get a roof work done. All of the roofers were quite busy due to recent storm damage - we even had 2 roofers no-show on estimates.Dave, though, was the consummate professional. He came out for the estimate at the time that he said he would, and provided the bid that same day. His knowledge about exterior work showed clearly in his honest assessments and advice about what needs to be done. Dave also provided accurate forecasts of his lead time and job time, and answered all of our questions thoroughly. And, when shortly after we had a leak above a window and called him wondering about the roof, he immediately offered advice over the phone, and also said he could come out again just to diagnose if it was the window or the roof. Dave did all this, even though he was clearly extremely busy.Some scheduling issues on our side prevented us from being able to go with Dave on our roof. We learned why Dave has people lined up waiting for him though. Honest, kind, skilled workmanship, good prices, and reliable - so of course people do!

We got a roof about 9-1/2 years ago, with a 10-year guarantee. This spring we had a leak. Dave and his team were on it -- no questions asked. The original roofer (from 9 years ago) came out, took a great deal of time to isolate the problem, then cleaned out the likely spot and put on caulk. I can't say enough about the high quality of the service, experience, and expertise of Bahr construction.

Dave completed a deck and screen porch remodel for us. What impressed us from the start was how responsive he was for returning phone calls and putting together the estimate. Pricing was competitive with others. Myles and the crew were the best, with great attention to detail. The communication could not have been better. I would not hesitate to use them for future projects.

The crew installed a deck on my home. Initially there wasn't one there so this maybe went quicker than usual. But I was amazed when I went from no deck to a beautiful cedar deck in just two days. Now normally I'd be suspect when it happens that fast, but let me be the first to say they did wonderful work. I have an eye for detail and they cut no corners that I could see. My wife and I now love this new space and makes grilling and entertaining so much nicer. I've even had people stop and ask "who did the work"? I cannot say enough good things and I would not hesitate to call on them again for my next major project.

DS Bahr replaced our old wood deck with a composite Trex deck. The crew was excellent. The job foreman, Myles, was excellent to work with. We received several bids and D.S Bahr was competitive with a fair price. The workmanship was very good. The job site was cleaned-up afterwards. We have used D.S. Bahr in the past on other jobs. We would use them again in the future.

Dave Bahr and his crew are awesome. We needed a 3 season porch tied to a wheelchair ramp. They took my initial design and improved it beyond my expectations. They kept me up to date on the schedule and the work started and ended when they said it would. Quality materials and craftsmanship. The wheelchair ramp was not trivial and Dave's team executed flawlessly. I was very impressed and we all enjoy the new porch. Thanks for a job well done!

We got three separate bids on our roof (small bungalow in Longfellow) and Bahr was by far the Best: most affordable, very down to earth, and knowledgeable. The site was well cleaned (no ripped off shingle trash) and the house looks great. Bahr came recommended by a friend and we can't say enough good things about them!
