Customer service and location was great. But the hotel it self. Is dated, gross and we had roaches in our room. By far the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. We stayed for medical visits. And will never stay again.Rooms: Gross and dated.

Perfect safe and secure room near the metro lines, and in the heart of The University of Minnesota. We went to all sporting events you could imagine, and this hotel was so excellent and accessible that when I come back to Minneapolis I will most likely stay here again! I do recommended staying here. Breakfast was very generous !!!

The location is the main reason I chose this hotel. We were in town for a weekend trip to the MOA. I hate to deal with traffic in a big unknown city especially during holiday season. A Metro rail platform is less than 5 minutes walk from the parking lot. We just rode the Green line and the Blue line to and from the mall. What is more convenient than having your ride outside your lodging? Staff was very helpful. We had to leave our bags at their office when we went to the mall bec. we did not bring our car. They were very accommodating. A very big help. AAA for service. Friendly staff. I will be back next Christmas for sure.Nearby activities: I'm not familiar with activities nearby but this is a university area. So a general definition of what someone finds near a college or university is there, mostly fastfood. What is nearby is a platform to the Metro rail Green line. Less than 5 minutes walk from the parking lot. With that nearby it's just a short hop to the MOA, Target Field,Target Center and Amtrak.Safety: Hotel is located close to the University of Minnesota. It is a university district not a downtown or a ghetto area. So less of the undesirable people around the area. More student population.Food & drinks: Fastfoods are within walking distance.Noteworthy details: If you commute or take a local rail service, this is location is a benefit. A platform is less than a 5 minute walk from the parking lot.

Cory at the front desk was amazing after having to deal with my very obnoxious friend. He was professional, thorough with info needed and polite when booking another room. My family is in the hotel industry and I believe he is a good asset to the hotel. Great staff and amazing rooms for the price. I will be recommending this location.

A group of us went to the Michigan vs Minnesota game last weekend and stayed here. We chose this hotel based on location and it was pretty good! The location can't be beat: proximity to the stadium, quick walk to the bars and breweries near campus, a good Asian restaurant in the same parking lot, and the Light Rail is like, a 2-minute walk away. The hotel is basic and the breakfast is just OK - although we were overjoyed with the biscuits and gravy Saturday and Sunday mornings! The rooms are clean. Even with how busy the hotel was on game day, it was quiet. We didn't hear the people in the next room unless they were leaving and the door slammed behind them. We could easily go to sleep at 11pm without any annoyance. The bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. The bar soap is a little weird, it doesn't lather well, but it's soap and it works. They give you some decent-quality paper cups for your coffee and in the bathroom, which is appreciated. The shower was actually pretty good with high showerheads, which is nice if you're tall so you don't have to crouch down. Our beds were comfy, if small. The TVs were not great as far as picture quality or sound. The elevators ran quickly enough. The staff was helpful and pleasant: providing directions, giving recommendations, remaking room keys, etc. which couldn't have been easy with all the drunk football fans there. It's not a luxury hotel. It's a Days Inn. A little better than most of the other Days Inns I've stayed at, but if you're looking for a more pampered experience, look elsewhere. This place delivers a good quality product for the price and location. It is overall a good value for the money. Two notes: 1) although they advertise a free, local shuttle, the shuttle was out of commission during our stay. Uber/Lyft is easy and cheap enough to order if you don't want to take the Light Rail; and 2) the rear of the parking lot doubles as a tailgate area on game days. It was not loud, but it was a surprise to wake up Saturday morning and see canopies and trucks of people gathered for the game early in the morning.Safety: Even walking at night as a single female if I had to go out solo, I did not feel at all unsafe. Between the campus police, light rail security, and random Mpls Police around, I didn't see any suspicious activity or feel threatened.Walkability: Very central location to the college stadium, Light Rail, and campus haunts.

Had a wonderful time here recently! The staff were very friendly and our room (although a tad outdated) was quiet and perfect for the 2 of us. Close proximity to the light rail was a huge selling point for us as we were exploring the city without a car. Also, the hotel shares a parking lot with an excellent restaurant called The Tea House. We stayed during the week for a concert at the Varsity Theatre and had no trouble walking there and back to the hotel, even late night. Always felt safe. Would stay here again!Safety: Hotel has security doors so only occupants can enter.

This place sucked don't go here if you have different-colored hair and don't expect to have friends come by the weekend so prejudiced and my daughters. The manager tried to blame my daughter for letting people in that were excluded my daughter is 17 years old how she supposed to know who is excluded from this place she didn't let anybody in so they lied about. The ladies exact words were that my daughter let a woman in that was excluded and then went up to her room if the woman was excluded how did she go up to her room. I had multiple guest I guess. that came over and it was the same guest. They tried to tell my tribe that I did not pay for the room which I did pay for. how else could I stayed in the room if I didn't pay for it.

It was good. Everything clean. We had breakfast included with the price. Just regret that we should have booked directly instead of Expedia. They didn't clean the room at all. Gave a reason of miscommunication btw management and the cleaning crew. What what's my fault in it.?.

A quiet little hotel, complete with modern security and amenities. I would stay here again. The hotel experience was great, a true Wyndham experience. The only con I can say about the hotel is it shows its age, however do not let that disway you as everything works as it should, and the customer service was everything!! Every floor has vending machines and the views from the rooms were surprisingly good for the price point. As a disabled individual I utilize a service dog and was pleasantly surprised at the amount of handicap parking spaces and how truly accessible this hotel is.

The rooms are a little dated, but the location is spectacular. It is right next to the stadium, the university in general, and also the green line. The service is also great. The people at the front desk were always friendly and helpful.Rooms: A little dated, but we had a refrigerator and microwave!Nearby activities: The stadium is right next door as is the green line light rail.Walkability: Easy walking distance to most of the University of Minnesota campus and all the activities that provides.

All of the reviews prior to mine are pretty accurate. Its pretty worn down. The tub in the first room I was given didn’t drain. However the staff was friendly and accommodating and got me a new room right away. I only stayed one night. I hope my life gets better so a hotel like this won’t even be an option but the stay was tolerable. The best way to put it is: This hotel has “at least” energy. At least they have a gymAt least the room had heatAt least there is a doorAt least there is an iron boarsAt least it appeared clean. At least there isn’t a closet but there are hangers. At least I survived this stay??♀️

Outdated but clean from what we could see. The room was kind of small but what you would expect. Bed was not very comfortable. No microwave in room but there is a fridge. Both entrances locked at all times. Breakfast was standard, eggs/sausage/bacon, cereal, toast, juice/milk. The limited staff we encountered were nice. Green line stop right by.

Overall it was good. Our room was comfortable. The fridge wasn't turned on and had mold in it and the public coffee bar was absolutely disgusting. I warmed up some food and was kind of poking around looking at stuff and all the drawers were full of suger mess and coffee stains. Most were so old they were faded. That was really gross. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay. Very quiet and the guy who checked us in was really nice.

First room, on 3rd floor, phone did not work and tub water ran constantly a little bit. We moved to first floor and doors were banging open and shut all night. Got no sleep. Girls at front desk were nice and accommodating, but that is where positively ends. A bit of an older junkier hotel.
