I went to dollar general over here and it was terrible. They didn't have much and it looked like someone trashed the place. So I came here. It was way cleaner and more organized. The staff are friendly.

This place is ridiculous. There are few really nice employees in there, and then there are a few who are obviously not taught good customer service. I understand it’s a dollar tree and you’re not gonna cater to my every need, but it all starts with greeting at the door, as matter fact, the greeting part isn’t even give it a one star. It’s sad that whenever there is any kind of store or retail in the inner city, they give that store the bare minimum. This is the only dollar tree that I’ve ever been to that don’t have shopping baskets. You could maybe be shopping for 12 small items, but you will have to get a big shopping cart, I think they do this because of drug use and homelessness in the neighborhood. I just don’t think that the customers people that aren’t using drugs and go to work every day should have to go with minimum as far as inventory goes. This place is out of things that you think there’s no way Dollar tree should go without. They literally didn’t have toilet paper. There are some items that I feel they don’t stock because it’s not considered the demographic of the culture that lives in my neighborhood in South Minneapolis. I am a homeowner and I try hard to keep money within the community , if you ask for help and that store, you feel like you are irritating them, and messing their day up. That’s how I truly feel when I go on that store. I’ve tried so hard not to leave a review on this store, but they leave me no choice And a higher charge, look into these and do something about it. There’s so many local stores in our community now that they just treat the people and such a degrading way I work in the suburbs in elk River. Maybe that’s why I need to start spending my money. Because they employees seem a lot happier , and everything seems to be in stock. And if I can’t find something that I need, the actual employees will come out to try to help me or give me very detailed instructions on where to find it. I swear to me, I will never go ever again . And the only reason I took time to post this even though I don’t plan on never going back to that store, there are some people in the neighborhood, especially the elderly that don’t have a choice. Need to do better.

I made an instacart order for this store and more than half of my items were out of stock. Why were they listed "Many In Stock" ???? False advertising and lazy business practices. DO BETTER

This store closes early every evening. Just change your hours to reflect when you actually close which is 8:30pm. It's not that difficult and would save people from wasting time.

they locked the doors 20 minutes early and people needed to get food, ur open till 9 so don’t lock the doors till 9 very weird!

I'm here right now at dollar tree it's only 828 it says online that it closes at 9 pm and they are checking people out right now but refuse to let anyone in

Not stocked. Employees ignore customers. Dirty trash everywhere. Hostile people outside of the store front.

The staff are really friendly but the store is horrible as far as keeping up on things, keeping it clean and stocked. I know as a previous Dollar Tree employee this is not the employee's faults with the amount of hours that they're given per store is not enough to hire the amount of staff they need and it doesn't help the location it is in, there's a lot theft. The company will not provide security.

Don't close your store cause of staff reasons. Totally unprofessional. In the time it took him to write the note he could have let me in and rung me up.
