We had two separate experiences with Fairview Home Infusion. Their nurses were incredibly kind, prompt, communicative, and made my teenage daughter feel seen and heard. Absolutely 5 stars for the nursing team!!!
Our problem was with the set up, booking, and billing process. We were told incorrectly by their booking team that our insurance covered the visits at 100%. Only afterward to have only a portion of the visits covered (2 visits billed out $850 total, and our bill wound up in the $350 range. Not terrible, but very far from 100%). In addition - because the first nurse had a hard time finding a vein in my daughter's arm on her forearm for the I.V., an ultrasound tech needed to come on a separate occasion. Instead of this being billed as a continuation of the first visit, we were charged for two separate visits. When I called to discuss and have them make a correction to the billing, we were completely dismissed without any sense of the team trying to understand our position. Had we been in the clinic, someone there would have found a vein at the same appointment. Before you book with this team - ask a lot of questions, demand to know the costs for home visits, call your own insurance company, and be aware that multiple visits means you will get billed for each visit even if it is their responsibility/mistake that you have to book another home visit.

The care team and nurses are literally the best. They make you feel so welcome and they check on you routinely.
The pharmacy team on the other hand! If you have a restrictive work schedule and/or you cannot touch your phone while at work due to safety reasons, your appointment will be cancelled by the pharmacy team! Be warned! They only call the day before the appointment so you only get one chance!

The nursing staff is unmatched! So amazing! The chairs are the WORST!. About a year ago they got new chairs and I was hoping for more comfort. Nope, they are like chairs from the dentist’s office. My infusions are five hour, so I am there all day. It’s really bad. How hard is it to find a comfy recliner? Is that too much to ask for?

Staff is great, super friendly. Infusion always goes well. Chairs are horrible; they're worse than airplane seats. Bring your own pillow to help with comfort.

Fairview Home Infusion provides a seamless transition from hospital to home care for IV medication, enteral (tube feeding), and skilled nursing care in the comfort of my own home. Unlike larger chain infusion services, FHI works directly with my entire medical team to provide continuous care and an additional level of oversight. Most visiting RNs have been friendly and knowledgeable in many areas of my care. The one downside is the organization is part of the Fairview system but have their own electronic medical records independent from the Fairview hospitals and clinics. This has caused some inconsistencies from one record to the other when something could be easier managed by utilizing one electronic medical records program.

Staff and services are great. My issue lies more in disappointing space for in-office infusion. The infusion area at their location has antiquated recliner chairs that are not comfortable when you have to be in them for hours on end. Blankets are coarse and snacks are incredibly limited. There is nothing warm about the infusion space and it feels bizarre to walk through their newly renovated building into such a sterile, uncomfortable infusion environment - what makes it more frustrating is my previous brand infusion site which is no longer covered by my insurance took 1-1.5 hrs less time for infusing - having nothing at all to do with actual medication dispensation and everything to do with slow protocols and not being ready for the patient at arrival.

The staff is wonderful. The chairs are horrible. I get a terrible backache from them.

IFarview Home Infussion provides good nursing care and oharmacy supplies, however they have internal policies they do not feel they need to share with patients. All bills must be paid within one year, no exceptions. If your bill is not paid up you are sent to collections without notice. It does not matter if you are making monthly payments and do not miss a payment. The billing staff are happy to take your payment but will not advise you you to pay more or that you only have a year to pay. It is their tightly kept secret which you are only aware of after you receive a collections notice. If you confront them about this practice they offer no apology and do not feel they need to have their staff start notifying patients. They are the only ones who know the rules Guess what, if you have read this you now know them too. Spoiled alert Ken in billing at Fairview Hone Infussion.

The compounding pharmacy is great. I have never had a single issue. They have always been willing to go above and beyond for me.

these people are truly amazing. when i got my Picc line in i was not happy i pretty much thought my life was over. the nurse came out to my house and explained to me everything i need to do. she was very friendly and we laughed and joked around she made me feel like i have known her forever. also every time i have had a problem weather it be from breaking out to my medication to getting my medication Delivered earlier Darrin Williams has always been able to help. when i could not get a hold of a nurse. he was able to get me a direct line to talk to a nurse so i could get answers . he has always asked someone if i have a question and he does not know the answer so i am not left being annoyed. i called today because i went into full on panic mode when they told me that my medication would not be delivered till tomorrow night when i was leaving town tomorrow morning. he said that was no problem and they could get it out to me today. you can tell cares about his job and helping people. everyone i have talked to there weather it was a nurse or the pharmacist have all been super helpful and enjoyable to talk to. Thank you to all of you who have helped me and made this experience much easier than i thought it would be. to all of you who are about to write a negative comment remember these people are doing everything they can to make you feel better and to make you feel as comfortable as you can. everyone has a bad day and if you have a bad experience or something is not working tell them and be respectful. they will be more than willing to help you or send someone out if something is not right. they are just trying to make you feel better! if any of my friends have to get a picc line or a port ( which i hope they never do) i would highly recommend them going through Fairview. the last thing people want when there not feeling well is someone who is going to be angry all the time the people at fairview home infusion make you feel important and ask you how your day is going and actually truly care if you are having a bad day.
