My son went in to look at a purchasing a new controller with the money he had earned shoveling snow. He was told that children aren't allowed in the video game store without a parent or guardian.
My child was not rude, not disrespectful, and calmly exited the store. No where was this rule posted, and it seemed to be applied in a discriminate manner as there was another child who wasn't asked to leave.

If I could give this store less than one star I would. The manager of this store denied me a sale because I would not purchase the pro membership. She informed me that if I wasn't going to listen to her sales pitch for the pro membership then she wasn't going to sell me the game I had come in for.
After some reading it seems I am not even close to the first person that she has turned away for denying the pro membership sales pitch.
The manager here needs to be fired, she is on a power trip and abusing her power and the customers.

I can’t believe they hire the people who work at this store. I purchased a game only to see when I get home that there was no game in the box. I quickly went back within minutes and they said there is nothing they could do except call customer service. I called customer service and they told me to work with the store. They apparently have “limited resources”. Don’t expect anything besides wet towels working there when you walk in the door.

Was charged twice for PlayStation- $1k- then both have been stuck in “processing” and won’t go thru, store won’t answer been calling for 3 hours straight now-but then we drive all the way there and no one’s in there even- they just don’t feel like answering…wow. No one is helping. This has taken over 4 hours now and we still have no PlayStation and you’ve charged us twice 😠😠 can’t get money back, can’t pick up unit and Can’t dispute as it’s “pending” … what a joke. 12 phone calls and not one time would someone answer

Dumbest experience i think I could ever have. Went to pick up order and account is under wife's name, asked to see ID and didn't have it. Show her email proof, account proof, the card the I paid for it with and still wouldn't give me my items since I couldn't prove they were mine. Here's the best part, she can't give them to me, BUT she can cancel my order even though she doesn't think it's mine and sell me the products from this person's order. After 10 minutes of losing braincells talking to this lady, she canceled my order and sold me my stuff again but not after deleting my coupon and saying "sorry but there is no way to get it back now". Long story short, she didn't belive i was the person who ordered, canceled said persons order and sold me their stuff... tried to stick to her "policy" and literally made just as stupid decision lol. Pains me to watch the younger generation "work".

Prices were higher than advertised. Used games cost more than new at other retailers. Won't be spending any money here.

I called ahead before coming in and was treated different when o arrived with receipt in hand you can’t do an exchange or store credit return disappointing and the lady still has to force us to here the buy my game stop schpeel I will never again bring my grandson here he traded in for $82 credit to be docked around waste and shit service from that lady at the hub

I called about 5 times over the course of an hour before someone picked up to answer a product availability question. Then, a sign on the door when I arrived said “back in 10-15 min”. So I wait in my car for that time and head back toward the shop to see a sign that says “on break, back at 4:30”. It’s currently 3:50. So if I want the one game I drove all the way here for, I’d have to wait for nearly an hour. So bogus.

Bought a game meant to have two discs. They gave me one. Noticed when I got home and called them, expecting them to right the situation. They literally said "yea we got that as a trade-in and noticed it was incomplete, sorry about that" They just gave me the incomplete version hoping I would be ok with half the game. Then said, "We have one here with both discs, but you can't have that one nor can you return the one you have because it is incomplete" So they've been waiting to pawn off this incomplete game on someone and I just got lucky. Ridiculous. If you want the game you paid for, shop somewhere else.

If you wanna talk to cashiers who act like NPCs and try to repeatedly sell you 3 different things you don’t need, this is the place! The greatest surprise was them getting upset at me clearly saying no, and talking to me like a child when god forbid I didn’t want to waste money on their stupid programs!

The cashier got upset when I told him that I didn't want to hear about their rewards program because I was in a hurry. He looked at me and said, "You're talking to me like that will not make me go any faster, do you understand?" I said I'm just in a hurry. And then he took the game away and said I could find another store. Great service. So I found the game I wanted on Ebay for $10 cheaper. Win win.

I just had a terrible, terrible experience with this store, and in particular with employee, Amy. I was attempting to buy a Switch and informed them I was in a hurry. Amy let me know she would not be able to sell me the Switch without first asking me about all the accessories to try to sell to me. I told her I didn't need any accessories, did not have a Gamestop account, and did not want one.
Amy refused this and told me she would still be asking me questions. As she was asking the questions I answered, No. No. No. On the third question I answered her No before she finished asking her question about if I wanted a switch carrying case. At that point she told me she was refusing the service.
I placed a call promptly into Gamestop corporate and left a complaint and I was told that this GameStop store, and specifically Amy, had numerous complaints about her.
This is the most insane experience I have had. I am trying to hand a business hundreds of dollars and because I was not open to them upselling I was refused business.
This is absolutely unacceptable and shameful for a business to practice this way.

Been shopping this GameStop for years, since it was funcoland. GameStop has forever lost a customer due to the fact that they took advantage of my wife during a trade in where she was shorted $40 dollars on a trade in that valued way higher and when calling back in to ask why they did not even attempt to try and make it right or anything!
GameStop for years as been doing this and somebody has to fight against them, don’t do you gaming purchases here cause the employees are rotten even at other gamestops as well!
