I am a single healthy , 72 1/2 years of age, white female on a fixed income. My career has been in floral design, using my hands to create. I retired in the Summer of 2018:In the Spring/Summer of 2020 I began to develop a soreness in the ring finger of my right hand. The soreness was in the connection of my finger to my hand and what I thought went into the knuckle . I thought arthritis, settled in to keeping as active as possible for as long as possible. The pain became worse as did the catching, which I was told by a friend it was “ trigger finger “ . It was a challenge to open cans and bottles. My left knee was injured, causing pain when I exercised, and walked.September 2020 I believe was when the YMCA began to offer Group Accupumcture at Blaisdell and St. Paul Midway. I believe in Eastern medical procedures, signed up and began to be a regular. The Doctors were exceptional. I mentioned about my“ arthritis “ in my finger. Dr. Christine Grisham and Dr. Rae both suggested it beDeputryens, and begun treating me for that. There was improvement, then the service was interrupted by COVID , and the closing of the YMCAs.January, 2021 when Group Accupumcture resumed offering treatments I signed up.As of the middle of March 2021, I have no pain or catching in my ring finger of my right hand, or the knuckle. We continue to treat the area every second or third visit . My knees are both improved, as have all the areas which we continue to treat. Accupumcture is helping me with sleep, anxiety, depression, cravings, with my cholesterol, moods, overall well-being . My sciatic nerve in my right hip was triggered, Accupumcture relieved the pain. When I feel i may have triggered it, we deal with it right away so the pain is never severe.Thank you for offering Group Accupumcture at the YMCA and for the excellent Doctors !Sent from my iPad

I came here for my first acupuncture experience and I loved it. Ray did a great job assessing my health and lifestyle. I purchased 4 more sessions and I can’t wait to go back!

They do it all! This is such a great addition to downtown and a much needed oasis. I love group acupuncture and the wellbeing center has given me access to a service I’d always wanted to try. The practitioners are genuinely caring and have helped me with a range of things from muscle pain, mood / mental well-being, to recovering from surgery. I layout how I’m feeling and they take care of me with ease and grace. We’re lucky to have this service and I’m so glad they’re at an affordable price.

I could write a book about how I feel about Ray. I would pay money just to sit next to her that sounds so over dramatic but it is the truth. I have probably done 200 accupunture appointments in my life and she is by far the best. She is like a Ferrari. If you have anything that needs some TLC I would vouch my soul on her abilities. We have opposite personalities but I respect her more than any conventional medical practitioner.
