“I grew up making Pisanki/Pysanky (Pisanki is the Polish spelling, Pysanky Ukrainian) and the last few years have gotten back into making them as an adult, getting more and more complicated/detailed with my pieces has been a joy and I couldn't do any of it without the amazing products that the Ukrainian Gift Shop provides. As the largest mail-order source of Pysanky and Pysanky supplies in the world you can find everything you need here, a rainbow assortment of egg dyes, pattern books, beeswax, kistka (hot wax pens), display stands and more! They have everything you need to get started or take your work up to the next level. I LOVE their dyes, too. I've tried others but theirs seems to give me the brightest, richest hues. I've done all my shopping online so I unfortunately can't comment on the shop in person but when I find myself in MN next I'll be sure to stop in in person to explore!”

“I stopped into this gift shop randomly on my way to the coffee shop next door and had an amazing experience. The lady who helped me I believe said her daughter in law owns the shop. She was incredibly kind and went far beyond her duties as a cashier on a day I really needed the kindness. Will 1000% be back just because of how wonderful she was, in addition to the fact that they have such a wide selection of gifts, cards, jewelry and other trinkets! Definitely stop in!”

“Based on gift delivery only: My friend sent me some adorable Mexican tin ornaments that the store shipped to me, wrapped cutely and safely first class mail in a bubble mailer with the price crossed off the receipt and a nice note from my friend so I didn't have to wonder who sent it. I think the store might be closed right now due to Covid, but if they are handling all their gifts the way they handled mine, this is a great place to consider your holiday or other shopping for friends who like fun, cute Mexican folk art!”
