The woman that checked us in seemed distracted. When we got our keys, I asked which way we needed to go to get to our room and all she said was to take the elevator. I ended up having to look up the hours for the pool and breakfast because she never told us.The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was decent.

we have stayed at this Hampton multiple times since my son began attending the U. We have had positive experiences every time, and highly recommend.

This place is full of two-faced money hungry managers and workers. Worst experience, ever.

This was my first experience traveling cross the country, let alone doing it by myself. This is was a great place to stay, super accommodating, great location near the light rail that connects the twin cities and overall just a great place.

So technically I stayed at the Home2 hotel but the front desk was closed and I had the Hampton employees so I'm leaving the review on here. I hope this message gets to the manager because these 2 employees need to be recognized for their service. I was checked in by Justin and he was just super friendly and wonderful to interact with (actually quite rare at the hotels here). It was Thanksgiving but came up for my sons birthday. He tried so hard to let me know a place I could get food since everything was closed.Later in the night I went down to the store and was telling Cynthia (the other front desk worker) about my frustrating night with finding food and what not. Justin overheard and told my daughter and I to get something from the store on him. I was almost in tears after having the night I had and his hospitality was incredible. They both were just so friendly even though they were both working the holiday.I have stayed in many hotels and have found that my best experiences are at Hamptons or home2s but this one just topped them.My room was spacious and clean and just really enjoyed my stay. Minus the $22 parking lol but having employees like that made it almost worth it.

Every employee I encountered seemed to really enjoy working there. This doesn't always happen! The front desk was super willing to stop and help when they noticed any hesitation near the desk. The woman working F&B every morning was always smiling and seemed to really want for everyone to have a great day. LOVED THE LAUNDRY ROOM AMENITY! The room was clean and well thought out. 5 minute walk to campus - perfect for me in every way

This stay was beyond excellent; made that way by the extremely genial staff. The location was perfect for our needs also. Our room was clean and comfortable. The only small thing that was a negative is that non of the USB ports were operable. That was easily solved by bringing in our own chargers for our devices. I can't wait to go back in the nicer weather to try out the rooftop bar.

I just stayed here for a few days with my boyfriend and this is one guy of the nicest hotels i’ve been to. The staff was very kind and Haley was giving great recommendations. The parking and location isn’t the greatest, but the rooms and service make up for it.

We had a very good experience here a few times now. Rooms are nice, although I hate the bathroom doors (they are sliding doors) they are hard to close or definitely need some grease. The rooms also didn't have a place to sit other than the bed or an office chair I almost flipped over when sitting down.Parking is tight but convenient and close. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Shout out to Linda, thank you for being so nice and helpful.

A delightful place to stay, and most of the staff was super friendly and helpful. Loved all the small accents and touches - such as the apple bowl because it was harvest season, or tea and water available at all times of day, or even a prestigious newspaper title available to read. The King rooms come with a nice couch and desk and bed, basically all you need. Location is close to campus, the Tower, and several restaurants, while a bar in the neighbouring connected establishment is open in the evenings. What more could you ask for ?Note: it says Speedway but I was reviewing the Hampton Inn.

walkable half mile from the university. it's a week maintained, although somewhat older "new" hotel in the area. the furnishings seem rather new, although the carpet seems well used.an actual breakfast with very attentive staff. everyone was really nice. Abagail (? horrible with names), Haley and Justin were lots of help.and everything worked well. parking was limited on the property, but there was a secondary lot, where there were more than enough spaces. I'll keep it on my list to return to when I visit again.

The doors to the hotel are always locked so even at the side entrance, it’s ok to ring the bell for assistance. I didn’t know that so I walked to the front. Not a problem, just an fyi if anyone parks to the left of the building. My room was 517. It was large and clean and had a nice layout. No view whatsoever, but I can only blame myself on that one because I picked the room when choosing my room online.

Staff was friendly (shout out ro Hayley at check in) and knowledgeable. Great location to the Metro green line a block over as we used it to go to US Bank Stadium (only 4 stops/10 minute ride for $2). Area seemed OK as well and I liked needing a card to get through the front doors. Check out Surly Brewing and the Food Hall nearby. Loved that the hotel has a parking lot and charges nightly not daily. Rooms were clean and spacious. We would come back.Rooms: Spacious and clean! Liked the couch/chair option besides the bed and also 2 ottomans. Bathroom was quite big too, shower had good pressure and hot.Nearby activities: Surly Brewing for pizza and beer..tons of outside activities and seating. Nearby is the Market at Malcolm Yards which is an awesome Food Hall to check out.Safety: Felt fine walking around hotel and couple of block to Surly Brewing. Took the green line metro back after a US Bank Stadium concert and it felt OK. Lots of people got off the stop right before us (hotel stop is Prospect Park).Walkability: Better rates as you're not downtown but the Green Line Metro is steps from the hotel front door. Can also walk to/around the UofM campus.
