Incredibly frustrating. What I had expected to be a FREE 30-minute check-up costs me OVER $600 - AFTER insurance. I had been going without my much needed medication for over a month, so set up my yearly physical at the start of 2023 to get a new prescription. I was charged a FOUR HUNDRED DOLLAR facility fee ON TOP OF a $300 Dr's charge.WHY SHOULD A 30 MINUTE APPOINTMENT COST ME $600+???? AFTER INSURANCE?! The most frustrating part is the facility charge. WHY should I pay $431 for the ROOM which I sat in?! Apparently, other locations (clinics?) do NOT have a facility charge.I disputed the bills with HCMC, I talked with my insurance company, I had multiple calls with the billing department - and NOTHING changed.I will never be returning, of course, and will avoid the doctor as much as possible for long as I can.Thank GOD health care insurance execs are doing well, though! God bless America!!!

Rude, unprofessional, late, poorly trained.went to get blood work done and had been waiting for over half an hour only for the staff to show up late, attend others who got there after us, forget about us even though we got there before everyone because they were cackling and joking around. Once we finally went up to them and got seen by someone, the lady (Katie H.) was extremely rude, didn't say a single word to me, stabbed the needle into my arm with a scowl on her face, and then shoved the blood vials and pee cup into my face, all without saying a single word, just because we had to interrupt their little conversation. Staff should know not to forget about their patients and have schoolgirl gossip sessions when there's patients who've been there for a long time waiting to get treated.

Check-in process and workflow at this clinic is horrible! Rude and condescending provider coordinator, poor directions for the appointment itself. If you do not want to be working, then why be there in the first place? Your face is unwelcoming and angry, makes for a very unapproachable first impression. Then why be rude if someone didn't understand your directions when they come back to you for clarification? Unnecessary attitude :/

Seriously?? ONE GI doctor for all the clinics??? I’m in pain, and was discharged from the hospital only to find out I have to wait a whole month to see a GI specialist. I can almost promise I will be back in the hospital before then. Pancreas pain is no joke and not something that should have to wait as long as a month. RIDICULOUS!!!!!Also the front desk area where you check in is a joke, you can hardly hear the person in front of you. Especially when some of the receptionists are wearing masks and they don’t have to. It doesn’t protect you from getting sick it protects others, no point in wearing them if you’re not sick.

Let just say if you don't like your job or where you work or the community it serves then quit or find a new one!! The receptionist at the mri desk didn't even ask me if I had be helped if I need help she couldn't even look at me... I have never been here before in my life and hope I don't have to come back....

I was concerned about going to this clinic when I read all of the negative feedback on this clinic. This is the first time I had used Hennepin Healthcare & Whittier Clinic. I found the reception friendly and efficient. The wait took a bit longer than I had expected but when I saw the doctor for the first time she is EXCEPTIONAL!!! None of what I read was true in my experience. The doctor took as much time as needed to answer my questions and talk about my heath concerns. I will not hesitate to return to Hennepin Healthcare & Whittier Clinic.

I literally had an appointment today at 12:40pm I called off work just to I can I get my ears checked out. I’ve been having ear pains for months. I went in the check myself in and this rude receptionist said I cancelled my own appointment? WTFFF I TOOK OFF WORK WHY WOULD I CANCEL sooo stupid!!! I’ve never experience this poooor management! Never coming back

Drove 20 miles to get here because this place had the only available spot for my child to be seen same day just for me to get here and they scheduled my child’s appointment for the wrong time and not only that my child is sick and to be meet with extreme rudeness by the front desk receptionists no wonder they had spots available you get better and more timely service going to a crowded E.R I will neverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr come here again this is the second bad experience I’ve had at this facility I won’t even mention on here I’m still traumatized by it ?
