This hotel has a vibe like no other. Every detail makes it beautiful and enjoyable. We truly loved our short stay and will certainly come back again.

I’ve been staying here for just over a week and this place is all the vibes. The front desk is so accommodating and helpful, they make you feel like you’re coming home (special shout out to Thomas!) and the valets are so kind. I’m in a wheelchair and Howard always rushes to get the doors for me. Both sets! It’s honestly such a great spot. The rooms are amazing, cleaning staff do too tier work, and that rooftop hot tub with the skyline view is straight magic. I haven’t even check out yet but cant wait to book my next stay!Rooms: I with my dogs, and though they are very well trained and make minimal noise- they are still dogs. So they have barked a handful of times. I gave the front desk my cell to insure they call if there’s any disturbances and I haven’t heard a peep. I feel the rooms hold sound well without disturbing your neighborsNoteworthy details: The employees here clearly love their job. I roll through the lobby a few times a day and sometimes I’m a bit cranky/overwhelmed (recent amputee) but the staff always has me smiling by the time I get to the elevators. The energy is everything.

Great trip if you like you like the valet and secuirty guards racing youre vechicals up and down Washington Ave and scrapping up youre rims! No accountability what so ever from the 20 something year olds running this place! Guy admits to it, security hears it, but then denys it when at front desk, who again had NO IDEA what to do with these two, even after we showed them video! Would be a nice place to go and visit if they werent so careless as to whom they outsource their valet and secuirty company to, but cant expect much from a team thats puts the least amount of effort into what they do! Dirty rooms, rude and disgustingly gross "bar back manager with glasses and dark hair with a stupid as hell top knot" hitting on the females that were on my group, to the horrible smell of the over chlorinated hot tub at the roof top bar that made all the food we ordered taste, well just like I am sure you guessed, to the wickely over priced "fusion" drinks that are not worth it at all! I could go on but they know what they did and clearly what they didnt do! Again go anywhere but here!Noteworthy details: Leaving this place was the best part of the trip!

I would recommend going anywhere but here. Caught the valets drag racing my vechical down Washington Ave, guy admits to it in front of security, but when at front desk denys it, and secuirty guard says it didnt happen, turns out the valet and security are the same company, and buddiea. Well they both looked ridiculous when we played the video!! Like I said go anywhere else, because I haven't even started in the creepy bar manager following me and my group to the roof top and making unwanted comments to the females in our group! Over priced boutique hotel with no accountability and horrible service!

This was a terrible experience, to start the beds had blankets on them and they had pillows, the shower had to much water and my fridge was cold and had food in it. I got wet from the pool, and the people at the front desk said Hi without consent to me and gave me my room key. The only good part was my friend Peter Parker. I will not be coming back here as it was a terrible hotel to stay at, I will have to enjoy the Twin cities somewhere else, DO NOT STAY HERE, unless Peter Parker is there.

We have been staying here for the weekend (Friday night thru Sunday). I wish I could have rated Hewing Hotel higher, but overall we were disappointed. Here’s the good, the bad, and the ugly…The Good: the location is great. The North Loop has many amazing options for food, drinks, bakeries, unique stores, coffee shops, desserts, and all within walking distance. The rooftop pool was one of the best parts of our experience. It was very relaxing and the view of the city was breathtaking. The Bad: we signed up for the rooftop Thermaculture sauna experience run by Stockyard Outfitters that ran from 12-2pm. However, checkout time is 12pm. We asked for a late checkout, but were denied. Why offer a service for hotel guests if it ends after checkout time? Also, the restaurant and rooftop bar were always really busy and noisy. The Ugly: there was a disgusting splatter stain with old sticky residue dripping down the wall in our room. See photos. Fortunately, they were able to move us to a different room, but it was inconvenient. And the room we were moved to was smaller, not as nice, and had missing hooks in the bathroom. See photo. When I told guest services about our experience, they said that they could only credit us $100.

We stopped by the bar as it’s been our date night spot since we started dating. The bartenders this Saturday were fascinating to watch. The pride and attention to detail in each drink they crafted was next to none. Meanwhile, being completely attentive and anticipating customers needs. Lovely atmosphere. We love this place in general, but tonight was one of our favorites.

I planned this night out for a small engagement party to celebrate a special friend. The customer service was horrible from the start. As soon as I pulled up, valet didn’t great me. I removed everything out of my vehicle and had to go inside the front entrance doors I where 2 valet men were standing to ask for a cart and for them to take my car. (Side not, it was negative degrees outside). I was very unpleased. The room was cute, we had one of the suites, which was perfect for us three to sleep and have a place to socialize and catch up. Unfortunately , the living room over head light was bulb burnt out, making it difficult to settled and setup as well bothersome to ask and wait for it to be changed as I was trying to prepare for the event. The worst part is the room temperature. It was unbearable we couldn’t stay in the room to socialize nor sleep, as left around 6am to go home and sleep. The room was 76 when I got there and 78/79 when we were all in there.Front desk did respond to my requests, but was rude and unapologetic for my concerns.Engineering , Sylvester Jones, was kind and apologetic about the temp, but nothing he could do other than a small fan and keeping our door open. The drinks we had were good, but the bar tenders were so rude we decided to leave and enjoy other restaurants and bars in the area, which were way better and nicer. Also, loved the surprise of further charges of the mini bar of items we didn’t take. Kept getting charged the next day for items we didn’t use. Happy we took pictures of it all as we felt this may happen.Traveled around the world to many beautiful locations, this place was hands down not the rave; if you have actually experienced great hospitality . Only thing to enjoy is the sauna and hot tub!Recommendations- there are so many cute villages in the city with sauna, cold plunges, or head up north or to the mountains for similar prices and better hospitality.Big disappointment .

Pool area is small, but it was nice. At night it gets to full capacity. The bar was a nice chill vibe.

Safety: Really felt safe with the elevator security via room card. People are not able to utilize elevator without security card! Room security also amazing! Double locks! Slept amazing without any fear of someone opening the door.

Within minutes of checking in, I told my spouse I want to stay here every year for my bday. Incredible service, drink tickets for my bday, free upgrade to room with city view, clean beautiful room, roaring fire in the lobby fireplace, and just overall amazing vibes. Rooftop hot tub was great, especially on a chilly December day! Amazing breakfast and room service. Such a special treat and really felt like we were on a vacation during our staycation. Hated to leave!

Great spot to stay. Huge rooms and the rooftop pool that's open 24/7/365 is amazing.

I really wanted to do a hotel block at the Hewing for my wedding, but I really struggled to get ahold of them, and they never gave me a straight answer about whether a block was possible. I emailed them every month or so for the year before my wedding, and only received a response every 2 or 3 emails, saying that it was still too soon. The latest email I sent them was 5 months before my wedding, asking to book a block, but they never responded.
