I ended up switching rooms because there was this high pitched ringing that the front desk attendant, Erin, even said would drive her nuts. The new room was apparently chain-smoked in, but Erin was so sweet and gave me a full can of air freshener as there were no other available rooms. Also, their parking garage (that you pay for) doesn't fit all guests so I ended up parking in the Hospital parking lot across the street. Erin did put in a note that if there are rooms that open that I will switch rooms to a less smelly room. And they don't provide continental breakfast. If you would like breakfast at the hotel it will cost you $12 for horrible looking eggs, dinkylittle sausages, 1/2 fried potatoes and some cereal. If you would like internet that is faster than a tortoise, you will need to pay extra.
Rooms: They are fairly spacious, included a microwave, mini-fridge, TV, and coffee pot. Just a stand in shower, no bath tub. My 2nd room had a broken frame around the mirror and smelled horribly of cigarettes.

Standard experience with lackluster room cleaning, despite typical assertion that rooms are clean. See photos for residue on toilet rim, hair in shower and on pillows, and unidentified substance on desk chair. Came on business, parking was sold out and necessitated a quarter mile walk to the nearest garage with my work materials each morning of my stay. Walking the local area is inconvenient due to intersection layouts. I wouldn't write a review if the hotel hadn't tried so hard to convince me that it was different from the rest with direct email solicitations from employees prior to my stay. My room was "personally inspected" for cleanliness prior to check-in, and I was asked what my priorities were. All I asked for was a place to sleep not ensconced in foreign DNA.

Hotel was great, Location is trash.
No notification of that it was Strictly an All-Valet parking only.
$35 each time which is a ripped off.
Pay all that just for the Valet parking crew to move it to the side of the building which is not even a parking spot.
Check in $35.
Leave to grab dinner and come back for the night and another $35.
Huge Scam

Standard room. Clean, not dated. Area is safe just out of downtown.

The front desk staff is super friendly and accommodating. Bathrooms are in dire need of updates. The rooms are outdated. The remote had food stains from the previous person, so this makes me question cleanliness. The only good thing is the bar/dinner area. The shower smells like sewage because of the pipes, and it has some red mold in the caulking, which can be fixed by redoing it. The sewage smell is only noticeable when you open the shower door. There are no USBs ports in the rooms, so you have to bring a wall plug to charge your phone/headphones, etc. If they fix these things, it would be a great place since it is close to the convention center.

I’m a Hilton honors member and never have an issue but I accidentally booked a same day reservation for the wrong Hilton and they refused to help me. Even as a long time Hilton honors member. What’s the point?

While it was a wonderful hotel, it was an odd place to get to. We had a great stay and the staff was incredibly accommodating. The only issue with the 5-day stay was we noticed a scuff on the front of our car from the Valet parking. We didn't notice it until after we had checked out and were heading out of town, so there wasn't much to be done at that point. Other than that, we had a great stay.
Nearby activities: It's located within walking distance of many downtown sites. The convention center is only a block away and the Orchestra Hall is about 3 blocks. We ended up walking almost everywhere and didn't see everything there was to see: Mary Tyler Moore statue, Peavey Plaza with the fountains, the Foshay building, and so much more.
Walkability: The hotel is close enough to walk almost anywhere you want in the downtown area. They city is very pedestrian friendly.
