For $500+ dollars a night the hotel should have hot water at 6:30am, and staff should be understanding of its importance. In addition, hotel could sure use a facelift on the inside.

I attended a wedding at The Hotel Landing recently. The reception was disappointing; it was almost an hour between the salad and the dinner. When the dinner was finally served it was cold. Our entire table and several others mentioned how cold the food was.

I am a Luxury Travel Advisor from the Wayzata area and have stayed in the best hotels on the planet (This year alone I stayed in 30 properties). This week, we needed to be out of our house for 2 nights and elected to stay at the Landing Hotel. Our family of 4 stayed in the Presidential Suite and were completely wowed. Living a mile from the lake, I was surprised how much I loved and utilized the location. (it is 80 on Oct 3rd, so the weather is in our favor) but we walked to breakfasts, lunches & dinners. The sunset from our room was spectacular. Definitely impressed and delighted by our stay. A gem here in Wayzata. Highly recommend to anyone needing a staycation or having family visit. Thank you to the Landing Team!!

This hotel is worth the cost. Rooms are beautiful and clean, the outside space is so wonderful and the restaurant/bar is fantastic. We greatly enjoyed our stay here and will go back.

Everything was clean, functional and comfortable. Only thing I didn’t like was that the AC was off when I arrived by default, so I woke up hot and sweaty

Horrible experience over all. The coffee (that they charged 35 dollars a day for )had black flakes but staff dismissed my complaint. The bed sheets were horrible along with pillows. The shower wash smelled horrible. Also tons of additional fees. I was charged $300 extra dollars on top of a $600 a night hotel for no reason.
