The woman I worked with didn't know how to use a .csv file. I had to show her how to enter it into a spread sheet. I sat for the first 15 minutes watching her try to figure out her computer while telling me about the computer problems they have been having. She seemed to not really be listening to me and I would have to tell her things 2 or 3 times. Probably because she was, "so tired." I knew that because she left her desk while I was sitting there and told the whole office how tired she was. I told her I didn't feel comfortable letting her do my taxes and started gathering my things to leave. She then asked me when I wanted to reschedule for! (not listening again) I told her it didn't seem that she really knew how to use her computer and it was surprising that she had no idea what a .csv file was or how to use it. She then raised her voice at me and said, "Well maybe if you sent me the right files."I told her that I am the customer and I am unhappy. She then said, "I'm sorry." I said, "Thank you," and left. What a waste of time.

I had my taxes prepared be a lady named Sandra M.I suggest NOT having her do your taxes. She was very polite and seemed like a nice person. The problem is she made many mistakes with my info. Twice I had to make changes. She didn't take the time to confirm the info I ultimately had to do all of that. She "filed" them and I waited over 21 days. At that point I tried calling her office and tried to reach her through E-mail. It took a week to get a response. She at first had names spelled wrong. Then the social was wrong and not just one number it was somehow way different. She told me to message the right number through their system so I did.Sandra lied to me and said she would fix it later in the week, I said when is later? Friday Wednesday? She said yeah Wednesday. She told me this knowing she wouldn't be back in office for a very long time.Wednesday came and went so I called. I got auto transferred to a different office. The lady at the office said that Sandra actually wouldn't be back and wasn't in the schedule. 'I guess they get like 8 weeks off without work or something'. So the other lady fixed the social number.This never should have happened even the first time. She could have and should have seen that taxes didn't go through but she is very incompetent.Her being nice doesn't help when she made so many mistakes.This is top five worst customer experiences I've had.I paid a lot of money to get them filed and her belligerence caused them to be delayed almost two months.For her to never confirm with me that the taxes were accepted is bad enough. But add all of the mistakes and the lies and it was ludicrous how the events transpired.The worst part is her saying she would look at it Wednesday knowing she wouldn't be back. She should be reprimanded for that. She was one of the most incompetent unhelpful people that I've had a customer interaction with.Do NOT let Sandra M file your taxes.Hopefully the other lady fixed it today.

They never pick up the phone or they will send you too a operator for hr block never going this h&r block again

Did not file my taxes on time and never called me to tell me. I called them after a few months and discovered there was something wrong and now I owed interest on my taxes. I also discovered they did not submit my rental rebate at that time, and it would of not be submitted at all if I did not force them to double check. I have not called the Minnesota IRS 2 months after my last contact with H & R block and discovered that, once again, it was not even submitted. At this point, I am not sure what the purpose of having a "tax professional" do this, as it has been much more difficult than when I had simple done it online in the past.

Cost of tax prep has come down. Takes the stress off of me. Prepared efficiently and quickly. H&R reps always seem to know their stuff.
