I came in to do a very simple name change with my updated Social Security card and ID. They told me they could not help me unless I also brought in a marriage certificate (My marriage certificate does not even state my name change, So they were just asking me for personal information that they definitely did not need and didn’t have any business with) I tried sorting this out over the phone with them and was met with a very rude woman that told me that this was the way that she was trained. When I called corporate, they were actually very nice. They apologized for this branch and they recommended that I go to any other branch to proceed with my name change… At this point, I’m just closing my account because of how much of an inconvenience they were. But if you’re banking with Huntington, I would recommend using a different branch if possible.

After getting both of my toddlers ready we got in the car and we were 5 min. Away when I decided to call at 11:18 (they close at 12) to double check about getting my bank statements printed off. A lady said yes we can but not today I asked why and she said because we’re about to close and we don’t have time. So basically they were too lazy and did not feel like doing it even though they didn’t close for another 40 minutes. I’ve gotten bank statements printed off multiple times it’s never taken more than 10 minutes.

I admit I was a bit worried with the reviews I had seen beforehand, but thankfully I had a good experience! Teller was super nice, and even though the place was pretty busy (Saturday morning), the staff got through people quickly because they had extra help that could make the line go faster. They all seemed knowledgeable and efficient.
Bonus: you can get your name changed by a teller, it doesn't need to be a "banker" (or if the person who helped me was a banker, they were at the main desk with all the tellers) This shows a company that actually thinks about people who experience this and I appreciate it!

My husband went to deposit a check into my account with my checking account info. They refused. We spoke with the manager, and he apologized and said it’s not a problem. 2 weeks later, same issue. I came in to deposit the check myself, when I confronted them about it, they crumpled up my check, and threw it on the ground. I know this sounds unbelievable, but this is how horrible their customer service is. I made a complaint and was told the manager and branch employees would be getting further training. FYI- anyone can put a check into your account with your checking number, and if you’re not able to sign, they have a stamp for the back. I asked for the name of the women who refused service to me, they also refused to give me their name.

Genuinely the worst establishment I’ve ever had the displeasure of having to visit. I only go to get change for my business and would never dream of personally banking with them due to how horrific service is. They always act like it’s such an inconvenience to help you and huff and puff the entire time. They also often times claim they don’t have enough of certain denominations, which I believe is a lie to avoid having to put in extra work to go get it. They also never strap the bills unless asked (again making sure you know how much of an inconvenience it is to do so) and have, on multiple occasions, tried to send me out the door with literal piles or bags of assorted bills without counting it or making sure it’s balanced. If it wasn’t absolutely necessary I would never step foot in here again and I can’t stress enough how much I advise against coming here for anything.

Customer service is lacking, check the reviews at every location, many aren't over 2 star ratings. Says a lot for your bank and ideologies. You don't have a business without your customers, which can easily bank better elsewhere.

Terrible Bank. Terrible Transition from TCF. I told them to close my account, they assured me they did. They never even close the account. Now more wasted time of mine. No one ever picks up the phone.
