Was thinking about coming back to June as I haven't shopped here since the location moved from Lyndale. The reviews are sad, and the responses from the store are vicious and rude. The lady I worked with who was the owner was very kind. I hope she's aware of the responses from the store on here because they are not good at all.

I can always find a fun unique piece when I stop by June. The customer service is amazing and extremely helpful when browsing their new picks. I feel so welcomed by all of the staff, catering to trying things on and helping pick out great gifts. Some of my favorite forever pieces have come from June. I would definitely recommend to any designer or quality secondhand lovers!

I recently visited June in Minneapolis and was pleasantly surprised!! The store has a GREAT selection of upscaleitems. And I was shocked by the prices. They were amazing for the quality. The shop is inviting and what stood out to me was the friendly staff— definitely add June to your must visit list. You’ll definitely leave with a staple addition to your wardrobe:)

I am completely baffled by some of the negative experiences described on here. I have been to June to sell my clothing a number of times, dressed very casually (leggings & black hoodie), and have always been treated friendly/kindly/respectfully. I also feel like they offer very fair prices for items especially considering they pay you upfront versus selling on consignment. The owner clearly has discerning taste as this is a charming store with a beautifully curated collection of clothing and accessories.

I’ve been shopping at June since it opened back in the old space. I have had only the most amazing experience with Daune. She expertly chooses the items she brings in and everything she stocks is in perfect condition. I’ve lived in many metro areas and I almost exclusively shop resale - June always exceeds my expectations. Whether you’re a shopper or selling your designer items, this is the store to trust.

I read, with interest, in a previous review, the response from the owner where she said, “if you want something to change contact us instead of posting here.” That is exactly what I did.I called after leaving the store to give feedback that I did not feel welcome, at all, when I was in the store. She let me have it, telling me that they welcomed me and that they had everything on camera and that all the staff members were on their phones conducting store business, along with a list of other reasons why I was wrong and the staff was so very professional.I ended by telling her that I wasn’t saying she was wrong but instead giving her my perception and that maybe other customers, like me, may have the same perception. She said, “we don’t have other customers like you”. ?

Exactly what other reviewers have said. VERY WEIRD VIBE. I have a closet full of high end designer things... many that I bought in Paris directly from the high end fashion brands like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Louboutin, etc. I asked about consigning and the owner acted like I was applying to a membership of an exclusive club and I was bothering her. She was very snarky with me. I asked what percentage she typically pays and she would not answer. She acted like I was not good enough to sell my things there. I came back and got the same vibe only stronger the second time. It just made me feel really uncomfortable and unwelcome. I am also really put off by stores that only cater to women who don't have day jobs. The hours reflect this. The prices in the store are also ridiculous. A used Chanel mini flap bag for $5,800? That is about 1K over retail! Some of her things are beautiful but way overpriced and I will take my business where it is wanted. In fact, I walked down the street and got a completely different experience being welcomed at the competition who had a waiting list of months because they are so busy.

I had a pretty crummy experience at June today, and it seems consistent with what other reviewers have said.I went in with about 15 Karen Millen dresses and blazers, sizes 8 and 6, freshly dry cleaned and in very good condition. The owner (I assume she was the owner) looked them over while I looked around the store. When I went back up to the front, all she said was, “I’ll pass.” I was a bit surprised, so I said, “Can I ask why?” She said, “They have a strong dry cleaning smell, so maybe if you put them in the backyard or something.” (I smelled them again and I honestly don’t smell anything, but whatever.) I said, “Okay, so if I do that… is there anything here you’d take? Because I don’t want to do all of that and lug everything back and you’re just not interested.” She very curtly said, “I don’t know, I didn’t really look.”No smile, no “thanks for coming in.” (Her associate who was working there was nice.)The whole time, she was just very curt and abrasive with me. And even though I was there to try to sell clothes, if she had treated me like that if I had walked in there to buy clothes, I would have NEVER bought anything from her. I definitely would have felt unwelcome and walked out.My negative review is not based on her decision not to buy my clothes. That’s totally her decision - I was disappointed, but that’s fine. My negative review is based on how she treated me. I felt she was very rude to me the whole time. I will not try to sell anything there anymore, nor will I go in to buy anything either.(The owner will probably do a reply on this review, and that’s fine. I believe that my review is objective of what happened, and readers can make their own decision.)

Very weird vibes, when I entered she looked me up and down which honestly I didn’t care but whatever. I had 2 bags, one they didn’t take fair, but the other one she offered me $400 for and it’s an almost $2000 bag. Meanwhile she proceeded to ask me where I got the bag from? Huh? As in if it was fake the receipts were in the bag. Why would I bring a fake bag to sell. I got close to $1000 for this same bag in Dallas Texas, go figure. Also asked me where I “lived” like that had anything to do with trying to sell the bag. Very weird energy, maybe if you fit the par of shopper you’ll have a great experience.

Opportunistic vibe from the owner.I asked her if she ever received Saint Laurent and her response was she keeps it for herself. Didn’t appreciate the skeptical energy regarding the Chanel bag and Balenciaga circa 2002I wanted to sell. I will take my business to nyc or la for designer resale.

Beautiful store with things to dream of owning. (Not because they are overpriced just trying to scale down my shopping and I need nothing) I have found everyone friendly and even when I relayed I was not in the market that day I was invited to handle a purse to see how it felt. I have found a roll on oil(fragrance) there that is out of this world.
