They treat every person and animal with extreme compassion and dignity ❤️❤️❤️Benny was just neutered, and this is him a day later! We take in unwanted dogs and AHS has been wonderful helping us to get each and everyone of them spayed or neutered!

I found a stray that was a year old and needed to be neutered because it was spraying. I brought him in and was asking around and found someone who wanted to adopt him so I asked when he would be available and they told me the date he would be neutered and ready. By the date I went on the website to adopt him, someone else already fell in love with him and he had a happy home. It was a wonderful experience.

We found a stray and took care of her while I called around to find out who could take her. The Humane Society phone receptionist for intake appts was so kind. I could just tell he loves animals. He didn't treat us like a number at all. He was very vested into getting the kitty on the schedule so she could find a new home. All the other places I called didn't take strays...

Once you get a chance to fill out the application for s/n, they will email you back with a date and time if that works for you then you confirm and they'll remind you the details the day before was 830 drop off 2 pm pick up I swear they did such a good job on the surgery cut it only been 10 days and you can't even tell other than her lil tum is Shaved the 1st 12 hours she was high as hell but let me know she was hungry ASAP, we slept and stayed resting for a couple of days together and by then she was back to her regular sha nag agains rolling in the nip nip, purr purr purring, she loves her tum rubbed way more now I was surprised THANKS FOR AHSV BECAUSE THE OTHER PLACE I TRIED MADE ME GIVE A 100$ DEPOSIT AND CLAIM I DIDN'T CALL, OF COURSE ❤️ ?AND THEN WAS GOING TO HAVE TO GET CARE CREDIT TO PAY THE OTHER 300 IF YOU DON'T, HAVE SO $400 PLUS WHAT EVER ELSE????? Not impressed. Took my kitten here to get neutered and they gave me no aftercare instructions. I see on the web now that he can only have shredded news paper for litter and non dust. They gave us no information what so ever at pickup , since they were so behind in surgeries they just wanted everyone out. Go to MN snap if your looking for a cheaper option.

Love AHS! What an amazing organization in our community. I have adopted many rabbits from AHS for my nonprofit Bunny Besties. Amazing experience. 5 stars!Photos are of the rabbits in our sanctuary now that we have recently adopted from ANHS.

They tend to be booked out pretty far because of low staff as well as a lot of other places, but I've been taking my pets here since before all of that. They have fair prices and they have always been nice.

I am very disappointed in the lack of care provided here. I adopted a rescue and was scheduled for a spay. They sent me a confirmation link which populated on my google calendar a time of 9:10 to 9:25. I showed up at 8:55. The doors were locked so I stood outside the doors for 15 minutes. One staff member walked right by me and inside with no acknowledgement. 2 others stood at the desk talking. Finally one came out and said I was late even after I showed her my confirmation. She turned us away. She was very rude and blamed the rescue for the miscommunication even though the confirmation came from the AHS. I will have my pet spayed at my veterinarian where I know she will be properly taken care of.
