I hate to even share this, because I don't want them to get even busier than they currently are. BEST BURGERS EVER! I mean hands down delicious and juicy. Service is personable and top notch. Even the host will grab your water and drinks, which shows this team enjoys their jobs and coworkers. Everything I've tried has been delicious and well thought out. From sushi to fried cauliflower to burgers and finish with the tres leches cake.

Great go-to spot for what you could call "new American" I guess but it's just a great blend of starters, sandwiches, and mains with some Hawaiian influence. Great cocktails and whiskey selection, always friendly and helpful service.

Our service was absolutely perfect. The food was marginal at best. The food didn’t live up to the menu descriptions. Because of that it was overpriced. The French toast was very dry. The hash was lacking flavor. The coffee is very good.

Incredibly delicious! The “KFC” (Korean bbq fried cauliflower) as a starter is scrumptious, and the Loco Moco with seared ahí is truly something to write home about. Must try!!

I recently visited Lake and Irving for dinner before a concert. Nate our server was amazing. He was attentive to the table's needs and gave great recommendations. The food, the atmosphere, and the hospitality were amazing. I'll be making it a point to come back.

First time eating here. The food was delicious. They have some unique options. Had a really tasty cocktail as well. Service was wonderful. Definitely recommend checking it out. I had the hanger steak with the ghost pepper sauce on the side.

So far I've only been to try the Restaurant Week menu, but I can't wait to get back. The atmosphere is so lovely (think cozy, warm bistro), the staff are incredibly friendly and professional, and the food is delicious. They do have a parking lot, but it's small and does fill up fast, so you may need to park on the street. It's free, though, so not a problem at all.

Their buttermilk chicken sandwich is “life changing”. As are a few apps and the delicious salmon quinoa salad.

I've been coming here for years for brunch and dinner, so this review is a little late, but I was recently reminded why I love this place. Outstanding food and service. With restaurants closing left and right, it's more important than ever to keep neighborhood places like this thriving. No notes.

Yesterday I had dinner at Lake & Irving for the first time. An amazing experience - - world class. Started with a terrific Old Fashioned, followed by a starter, Lobster Arancini: Lobster Claw Meat, Smoked Gouda, Chive - - scrumptious! For main course I chose Seared Ahi Tuna: Roasted Carrot Cream, Kabayaki Green Beans, Cabbage, Celery Root - each bite of each was an explosion of awesome flavor and texture! Finished with Churro Fried Cheesecake - - divine! This restaurant had not been on my radar, until it was listed in Restaurant Week. It's now on my radar for good! A few months ago, I embarked on a tasting journey to visit the 200 top-rated restaurants in the Twin Cities area. So far I've visited 50+ restaurants - - including Spoon & Stable, Alma, Maison Margaux, Porzana, Owamni, Khaluna, Gai Noi, Herbst, Joan's in the Park, Mara, Meritage, Stepchld, Tilia, and many more. My meal yesterday ranks in the top 5 meals I've had! Congratulations to the chef, and to everyone on the team for making my experience world-class!
