Dawn was awesome and super helpful (thanks for understanding when I explained my situation with having my two dogs with me!), as I had at least a dozen questions during my visit—from “Do you have any statues of Hermes?” to “What can you tell me about this rare book?”, and although my visit was interrupted by an awkward and tense exchange with their reactive herbalist (who has a dog allergy, apparently), I still enjoyed my experience and I hope to visit again to meet their founder some day. As someone who has lived with “invisible disability” for more than half my life, I’m happy to announce that I’ve gotten better at standing up for my rights instead of letting the triggers of others ruin my day. If this weren’t the case, I would have walked out after the exchange with the herbalist and not spent almost $700, yep—mostly on rare books!.Please have your employees read the Americans with Disabilities section on service animals. There is so much misinformation out there regarding what qualifies as a service animal, and unfortunately, their herbalist seems to think that the only type of service animal that exists are PHYSICAL SEEING-EYE DOGS. This is a harmful myth. And I’m not even talking about Emotional Support Animals (which are NOT service animals).PRO-TIP: There are TWO QUESTIONS YOU CAN LEGALLY ASK A DISABLED PERSON TO DISCERN IF THEY HAVE A LAWFUL SERVICE ANIMAL. 1.) Does this animal provide a service to you as a disabled person? 2.) What is the service they provide? So, I might not “look disabled” but if you had digital x-ray vision, AND understood the mechanics of the cytochrome P450 pathway AND the destabilization of fascicle nanotubes, you might “get it.” ;)Technically, there are multiple categories of service animals, one category being MEDICAL. These are animals, typically dogs, that can communicate to their handler when the handler is experiencing a medical emergency. This is what my dogs are trained for.I tried explaining this and the herbalist actually tried to argue with me. LADY. If you can’t handle your own emotional triggers working in a public-facing place, maybe it’s time to take a vacation. I’m sure your allergies are awful, but not being able to listen to what someone is saying in a diplomatic way is a surefire sign that you are actually the problem in the equation, not the environment. =)My one dog with fur is about the size of an 8-month old baby. He’s old and rides in the top bunk of a stroller. The other dog is also tiny, and has hair, not fur. She rides in the bottom bunk. We use a stroller because Mom is a ninja-cripple and we are all safer using a stroller for many reasons. The dogs get to walk on leashes when we’re at a park, and they never go off leash anywhere.p.s. There is no such thing has service animal registration, that is also a harmful myth. Service animals are for disabled people, and you can train them yourself. There are helpful books on how to train your own service dog. It’s lawful, legal, supported by the federal government’s Americans with Disabilites Act. Know your rights and seize them. We deserve to live freely. Carpe Diem!p.p.s. I don’t need a response to this review, especially if there isn’t some accountability to the unprofessionalism I encountered. Just do better. Thanks, on behalf of the chronically-ill and disabled community.p.p.p.s. Thanks for being awesome, Dawn!

Went there because I heard good reviews for kratom and was in desperate need. Soon as I got in the door I was bombarded by the tarot card reader striking up a conversation which was obviously for one reason and one reason only. To reel me in. I told her I do not need to lay cards out or talk to an operator to Spirit as we all can speak to Spirit directly. She backed off slightly after this but insisted on showing me her bag full of countless tarot decks. The kratom was unbelievably pricey as online I can find 250 g of Maeng Da for 29.99 free shipping and that's without the discounts which they always have. They were selling it for 109.99 so over 3 and a half times as much and it was about half as weak as what I get online so I had to double the dose incessantly. They are obviously there to make a profit instead of helping people on that one. Right when I was about to leave my younger friend said he would like a tarot reading as she began trying to reel him in. Let me say, she did not give any indication that there was any type of payment necessary nor were there any signs indicating such. She gave him a full reading which lasted about 10-15 minutes and I have two others that can attest to that. He, being young and admittedly somewhat naive said something along the lines of I can't believe this is free. She immediately threw a hissy fit, throwing her hands up in the air and making sure everyone heard exclaiming "You thought this was free?!" and made this huge deal out of it when this was obviously done on purpose. She was preying on a respectable young man that has more than enough issues in his life and did not deserve this treatment. He even was crying at one point yet she was relentless. I offered to pay and she was acting pissed off at us like we stole something. She claimed it was an entire 30 minutes and said it was 2 dollars a minute!!! So it ended up being a little over 65 dollars!!! I had already paid the cash register then on top of that someone came out from the back and as we were trying to leave told us "Hold up! Hold Up! Did they pay?!" Acting as if we were going to call the cops on us or something. Don't go here. They will try to make a sucker of you too, so she can go buy yet another tarot deck frivolously with your hard earned cash. Now I see why in the bible it says that divination and card layers are an abomination. Needless to say we will never set foot in this store again and you shouldn't either. They don't care about helping you. They care about taking your money and that's about it. Horrible experience I should've went somewhere else.

Didn't have the thing I wanted and didn't really care to elaborate about when it would be in. Chic little place with cute campy vibes.

Always friendly staff and a wide selection of metaphysical products (books, talismans, herbs, crystals, and more) to expand your practice. I'm a personal fan of their incense. They also have tarot, energy, and natal chart readers in their shop a few days a week. If you've never had a reading done, this is definitely a cozy place to get one! Cannot recommend enough.

They have a wonderful collection of herbs and whatnot. Unfortunately they also sell white sage and dream catchers which are closed practices and therefore cultural appropriation. White sage is also being over harvested. I’m not sure if the owner is native, but the staff I have seen have all been white. Please don’t buy these products unless you’re indigenous!

Needed some incense for a project I was working on. Interesting little spot chalk full for your needs in the "dark" arts. Plenty of minerals, herbs in back, books plentiful in history and teachings. Checked out the incense and chose two and the worker asked if I had the correct apparatus for one of them. Told them what I was trying to achieve and they said it should work. They also threw in a free stick incense to try out. Long lasting, works outside better than others because it was actual resin. They then informed me why you get headaches because most incense use glue. Sniffing glue is bad m'kay.Worker knew their shop and was helpful. Thanks a lot!

Shopping here was enlightenment itself!! So many books!! Crystals and ritual tools were well displayed. I left with 6 books. I was very happy to see some “old favorites” in the used section and I bought those too. My husband and I rounded out our experience with a very spot-on Tarot reading. We will definitely visit again when we travel to Minneapolis!

Visited for the 1st time today (7/16/22) & it was great! Nice shop with very friendly & helpful staff. Good selection of books, candles, essential oils, bulk herbs that can be custom mixed I think. Overall great experience. I would definitely visit again.
