I attended a health convention this summer, so I got to the convention for the first time. Even though I was staying on the St. Paul side of town, I was amazed at the size of the convention center at the other end of the Twin City. It was really clean. Unlike some stadium I've been in to watch games, it was clean throughout, as I say cleaning staff making sure things were working okay. The tech staff were working hard in the background in between presentations- you really saw them except during breaks. They really made the transition between the different events seamless. Definitely one of the best convention sites I've ever been to. If you have an event here with your company/organization, it is definitely a place to go to if you're a convention-goer.

I attended a conference at this convention center and the layout was everything. The convention center is very well-kept and within walking distance from multiple hotels. I was not impressed with the food at all, but everything else was great.

A great venue for a tradeshow, although it isn't perfect. The size and space is ample, but the food selection is sub-par. I'm not sure why better food can't be offered at these shows, but Minneapolis doesn't seem to want to offer its guests a taste of local food. Restrooms are decent, but parking can be a pain, especially for exhibitors who are allnpacked and ready to leave the events. Walking to the convention center is easy, as the walkways provide plenty of protection from the elements.

If they have a car show here, go. This place hosts some great car shows, including the Minneapolis Mile.

It was a fine convention center. The conference rooms were not too cold either. I prefer a slightly warmer area over freezing my butt off. Staff there was knowledgeable about the area and very helpful. Food was just ok. For the coffee they actually had no dairy milk! So that was nice.

As these places go it’s pretty good. It’s a very big space with lots of rooms. The plus are good quality it and venue flexibility. The downsides are it is not connected to the light rail and the food options seem limited. The best way in and out is the sky walk. There is a huge underground car park of you drive. It’s internally well signed.

This is the first time I have been to this convention center. It makes sense as this was the first time I was in MInneapolis. We stayed at the Marquette hotel and this was just an easy 10 minute walk. This is an amazing venue that was the perfect host for our annual Kiwanis International Convention. This is a nice big place with lots of bathrooms, plenty of parking (not that I needed that) nearby ramps that are connected via enclosed walkways so you don't have to worry about walking outside to get in. This is perfect if your meeting in the winter or have to get here on a rainy day. They have some small cafe's for food and drinks, and also there are food serving areas for when events are going on. It was nice to see how quickly they moved a very long coffee line in the morning. Our meeting rooms were very good, and there was complete access for those with disabilities. All the rooms were acoustically set up well and there was a clean sound with microphones. Even the larger assembly rooms where displays and vendors were set up had great acoustics and even with all the people. We also used the auditorium for multiple presentations. The overall technology of this center was excellent. Another extremely large room was used for a gala dinner, which was very good. Dinner included a salad, Braised short ribs and chocolate cake dessert. The server team did a fantastic job of getting hundreds of meals out quickly and efficiently. After dinner was a concert. again, the acoustics were perfect for our musical guests, The Oak Ridge Boys. This is a beautiful venue and I look forward to a return trip here. KUDO's to the team at the Minneapolis Convention Center

The convention center is huge with lots of venues and room to walk around. There aren't any restaurants inside with dependable hours so be sure to eat beforehand. Event parking rates at the nearby ramps are frequently active (at least $15 per car). Overall it's a clean, open, welcoming facility.

Went to the Minnesotacon on Friday to get some of my collectables autographed by some of the guests they had. Was a lot of cool vendors and had a good line-up of guests there for the comic con. Look forward to the twincitiescon coming up in November for sure!!

Dance competition weekend. The place is huge so it allowed dance groups and guests to move around freely and easily. They had everything labeled/directed very well too so it was easy to get to our destination. The only down side is at the end of the day, someone booked some political event and they closed off our route to get to the skyway to get our parking ramp. That was terrible logistics on someone's part. It would have been a 5 star rating had it not been for this.

I've been to several graduations at the Minneapolis Convention Center. It is a beautiful, spacious place. Parking can be tricky, so it is either good to get there early, be willing to walk, or take a cab/Uber/Lyft.They have lots of events here and many other types of conventions besides graduations. Several years ago, they held Project Homeless Connect at the Convention Center.I also believe they hold the comicon conventions here as well.
